Chezvelo, I am from Brazil as well, but as a current resident of Canada I am applying through Ottawa... I wonder if they might just send it through Brazil instead.

Does AoR mean they checked documents etc? Or does it only mean they got it and haven't looked through it?

AOR means they have ur app in hands. Not sure if they've checked ur docs.

I am in Canada on a 3 year post graduate work permit that just started last December! as I have been living here for almost 3 years I am allowed to apply through Ottawa =D I know they removed the visa office option from IMM0008 though, so they might decide to send it to Brazil, who knows!

In my application I did write "Ottawa" because they hadn't changed the form when I sent mine in... so we'll see! I wouldn't mind having it go to brazil, it's just more expensive to fly down in case they decide to ask for an interview =/

Yes the wait is becoming ridiculous. It will be 3 months since I submitted my application and I still don’t have SA!

I don't understand they said they will take 85 days to compleat step 1 but they don't. What is the point of saying 85 days

they don't say they will take 85 days, they say it's taking 85 days at the moment since they were working on nov 3rd.but it depends on hoy many they get each day maybe they got a lot on nov 4th so it's taking longer...
