Thank you and I was kind of knowing that we won't have interview coz we really provided a lot of proofs and 500 pictures n all.. I hope they don't ask for interview after remeds.. and i have already packed half of my stuff hehehe

sure, it came from the name of Citizen and Immigration Canada : Information about (file no.)

Hello Seniors,

Need some advice from you.

when applying for PR , is it necessary that i include your wife in the application . can i just apply for me , go to canada and later on apply for my wife as a sponsor.

There are 3 reasons for this , first she is pregnant and i cannot get the medical for her , this would put the application in a suspended stage.
Secondly , if the visa gets rejected , i would loose half amount . and i dont have settlement funds for 2 people.

PLease advice.

yes you can apply for your self but your should declare that you are married and they will not be accompaying now and will join later. if you miss this part then you can never sponosr her again.

Dont even imagine to do that

First it would a fraud to not to declare your wife and her pregnancy at the time of your application and even if you declare the reason you mentioned wont be accepted. and personal advise that when you are applying for PR you get extra 5 points for your spouse and it takes 6-9 months for pr application and then you still get further entry date for your wife depending on when her medical expires.

For settlement funds you can take loan from bank or your friend , get the statement and then return the money.

And medicals for your wife is still possible and you would be asked to do the medicals at a later stage when your files gets approved from sidney office and gets transf to your respective office which would be atleast 3 months from now. And there is a diff medical proc for preg women.

So buddy what you are thinking, please dont do it

So I talked to my mp and she refused to inquire about my file. she said as u are aug 2013 applicant ur file is within processing time so I should wait until the 1st week of october : If I do not hear anything until 1st week of oct , then she can go ahead and inquire. So I guess only option left with me is applying for gcms notes.

I guess it is too much of work for the lovely blonde assistant (you think MPs make the call? unless you have loads of money to support their reelection campaigns their lovely assistants do the dirty work) to punch the numbers and open the mouth and say 'my constituent wants to know....' (what are interns for? they could do that job of punching numbers..). Even if the answer from CIC would be 'within processing times' it is MP's job to serve the constituent...

it is not true...some call center guy in Canada would look at the information on the computer and this does not require pulling out information from the files..if you ask forum members, who did not do MP inquiry, how long it took them to get visa and someone who did the MP inquiry, the results would be the same....lucky ones get it within 10 months, unlucky ones longer...
