Hello all, I was silently following this blog....bt thought of asking my questions and confusions thru the experienced ppl out here this tym....
I filed for spouse application on aug 23,2013....and have heard no response tilll now...evn medical is getting expired this week...somebody told me to send an email and ask for the information...10 days gone yet again no response...

can you suggest me wat is the best way to know, what is going on my file?? as it is more than 10 months already gone....

We are in a same boat . I applied in mid aug 2013, medicals expired. did they ask u for any additional info? I also sent an email but no response , I heard that they will not reply if ur case is within processing time like spouse visa delhi office processing time is 13mnths. I was thinking of applying gcms notes.

try your MP; apply for notes: do a case specific inquiry...if you are using a lawyer then only he/she can do a case specific inquiry...around 11 or 12th month you will hear if you have an interview scheduled or not (sometimes they don't have interviews and the file status changes to in process) ; if not you will be asked to do remedicals..your MP will be the fastest route to find out the status of your file (max within a week) but MPs can't give you detailed information but he/she can tell you if you have an interview scheduled or not; if your file has been opened or not; second is notes (30 days to get report); third is case specific (within a month but most of times people get a response in two to three weeks)...

they will look at your additional documents by their deadline of 11th July, you should be hearing from them soon (before the end of this month)...unfortunately processing time has been increased to 13 months so if you ask them the status of your application, they might say 'within processing time'..ask your MP if he/she can find out the status of your application mainly to find out if an interview has been recommended..hopefully there won't be one and once the application status is changed to 'in process' then they would speed up the process as you are approaching medical expiration date...it is possible they might give you two weeks time to pack and go before the medical expiration...

each 1 year ...sometimes they give extra days for medical expiration date...if medicals expires by the time they are done with background checking and other steps, they may not ask you to redo medicals..for PCC they don't ask to do it again...

Do you think they can still ask for an interview ?? if they wanted to call for interview , then they wouldn't have asked for additional documents by post. What are your expertise view on this?

thanx...i already tried MP...not worth...same thing was explained to me that cases are taking maximum 13 months...i think applying notes would be better idea..

Its 1 year now for us to separate. Sometimes feel is it really that worth? How to convince ourselves that how long we all have to walk on this ambiguous path.

It's really painful to go through this journey. It's jus only for this country one has to wait so long to be together. Every other country let spouse go along. It's like life is strucked up. Each day is like a year. On top they asks us proofs to prove your relationship after marriage. Somebody should go and tell them. After marriage two people are living thousands miles apart with time difference and on top each of them has to go out for their living. So Wat they expect from us they should prepare a checklist. I'm really disappointed with all this.

yes when we send a request for GCMS notes they send an confirmation email. .also they gave us temporary tracking no and receipt no...
when ur lawyer apply notes which email id u guys are fill.?
