I am just curious and would appreciate any reply with this regard. I recently obtained my citizenship and didn't inform NDVO or Immigration center in Canada. I filled my application and sent on 23 Oct 2013 and was transferred on 28 Jan 2014 to NDVO. I am recent graduate from engineering and my wife graduated from high school. She lives in Afghanistan. Our age difference is about 7.5 years and our all parents attended the wedding in Afghanistan. We are relatives. So, do you think should I inform NDVO or immigration center about my citizenship and do we have any red flag in our case because of age difference?

Since your file already transferred to ndvo , which mean they have already approved you as a sponsor . Which also mean they already have all information about you . If it's common age difference in your area then it's not a flag . So don't worry .

Thank you and I was kind of knowing that we won't have interview coz we really provided a lot of proofs and 500 pictures n all.. I hope they don't ask for interview after remeds.. and i have already packed half of my stuff hehehe

when your status changed to IP then packed the other half stuff
as we see the trend of this forum everyone received remedical request after the interview so its obvious that they asked you to do remedical bcoz you don't hv an interview. ..all d best hope your status changed to IP soon. ..

So I talked to my mp and she refused to inquire about my file. she said as u are aug 2013 applicant ur file is within processing time so I should wait until the 1st week of october : If I do not hear anything until 1st week of oct , then she can go ahead and inquire. So I guess only option left with me is applying for gcms notes.

thats ridiculous...all MP's are useless duffers.. you will received ur visa before Oct..when u received it then again go to MP office and give her sweets with full of chillis in it...
its better option to apply notes...

So I did an MP enquiry and even after 3 months of remedicals I am told that background checks are still not done....My processing time of 13 months is officially getting over next week......... Any suggestions any one???

one more duffer MP. ..now no suggestions... :'(

We don't have any red flags and we even have a newborn together. But in case these Ndvo ppl give us interview. How will my child and I coming for the interview be benifical to our case. Still application received. Haven't heard anything yet. Just asking hypothetically.

you are the applicant or your husband. ..?
if you do not hv red flags then don't assume that you will hv an interview. ..your medical expires very soon so in that case you will sure received remedical request this month..just play with your little one and don't think too much. ..gud luck

Absolutely nothing...this is not that strange knowing how NDVO works. I've been struck in IP for 2 weeks and it is get more annoying by the day. I'll spare you the rest of my rant.

I'm October 8 applicant.
Visa valid till 11 sep 2014.

congrats on getting your passport but more importantly after a long long time you were the first person to use the word 'shiny' with 'visa' together...maybe landed people from this forum who settled in Toronto can all get together at your restaurant and play a game called 'find different curse words to describe 'NDVO'' one who comes up with most words would get dosa free from your restaurant..now tell me where your restaurant is...hello, where did popeye go..disappeared so fast when asked for address for free dosas...lol

hey congratss...that's soo fast I m sure all Sept applicants got worried now lol...as w2e said tell us where is ur restaurant if we are lucky ones and these morons issue our visa then sure come to ur place. .wish you both happy married life

WEIRD NDVO:

i was asked to submit REMEDICALS for me and my spouse (strange, when my husband lives in canada) on 27 june 2014 within 7 days.
i sent them emails regarding the clarification.
but they again sent me an email extending the days fr remedical by a week.....
I DID MY REMED ON 28 ND SENT THE SAME.
now its "in process" but AM confused....................Y DOES NDVO NEED REMED FR MY HUSBAND WHO ALREADY RESIDES IN CANADA..........SHOULD I SENT REMED FOR HIM TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO???????????????????????/
