PROBLEMS SUBMITTING MY PROFILE FOR THE EXPRESS ENTRY

Hello everyone,
I have supplied the relevant information on the CIC website needed to create an Express Entry Profile. However, each time I clicked on the transmit button,it tells me that the CIC online services are currently not available giving two possible reasons.
1 That the website is being upgraded
2 That they are experiencing technical difficulties.

Has anyone had a similar experience or situation. Please help.

Many thanks.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to be added to the pool once you have submitted your profile? From what I read you should eventually receive a pdf message saying so.

IT mostly is skilled job in NOC A depending upon your precise roles e.g. 2173 (Software engineers) or 2174 (Programmers) all are NOC A.

P.S. EE is not bad for people already working in Canada because many of them were already hired on LMO / LMIA based work permits and would simply get the additional scores without any need of their employer to get a new LMIA.

In fact, all LMIA-exempted work permit holders are screwed over by this. CIC, in a sense, is letting TFWP people who also qualify for CEC trumps all of them.*

PGWP especially because new grads are almost impossible to meet prevalent wage requirement.

* CEC only because they will have to meet their CEC intake target so in a sense, FSWP applicants aren't affect CEC's.

So are you saying because I came in on a work permit and even though I have 477 points on my profile I am essentially screwed? I meet both CEC and FWS though?

That's the other obstacle we are all facing. It's unfortunate.

Don't lose hope before it even started. You also seems to be a really good score.

And let's face it, most people who are lining up for CEC is LMIA exempted (apart from TFWP who are also good for CEC). E.g. PGWP, ICT, IEC, Closed WP under NAFTA. At least in the first couple draws, LMIA approvals are rare.(*1) And how many TFW applies for CEC? We don't know. (*1) So why stress yourself for all these unknowns. We will have some idea after first draw.

(*1) According to CIC, 1200 LMIAs approved in 2013.
(*2) LMO is valid for 6 months, so a TFW may got LMO approval when they arrive, and the LMO isn't valid anymore at time of application.

Yeah I guess you are right, we won't really know anything till after the first draw.

May I ask, after submitting a profile has anyone mentioned how long it took them to get placed into the pool. I have no idea what kind fo timeslines people had. I submitted my profile on the 19th, do you think I will get into the first draw?

It's true that there aren't a lot of TFW's with LMO's / LMIA based work permits. So you guys who generally have good scores otherwise shouldn't worry much. I believe you would easily make it through.

The last point above is not valid. It is not the validity of LMO. Any LMO is max valid for six months and that is only for applying for work permit. Basically if you have an LMO based work permit that is valid for a while (work permit is valid, not LMO), you are good to get the 600 points.

Can someone tell me after submission of their profile how long it took before they were told they had been placed in the EE pool e.g. a pdf message? I would be very grateful.
