    Express Entry: Improving Processing Times?

Well I have already submitted the Canadian police cert with my application so from what you are saying it will help. Can't say how by much though.

    Express Entry: Improving Processing Times?

Hi There, After receiving an invitation to apply I gathered all my documentation and submitted my EE application on Dec 23rd. I submitted everything required e.g. medical, ECA Report, (home country)Police cert etc. One thing my solicitor asked me to do was to get a Canadian police cert which is...

Application Rejected on Missing Passport even though it was submitted.

So I thought you would be curious to know I had a meeting with my solicitor and they checked everywhere in their email infrastructure and they found no email notifying them to upload a copy of my passport. They had already uploaded it anyway. For those that said you need your real passport, no...

Application Rejected on Missing Passport even though it was submitted.

My application was submitted May 12th. From looking at the rejections thread I am not the only one to have this issue.

Application Rejected on Missing Passport even though it was submitted.

The thing is my paralegal received no email asking for that. No mention of a physical copy was ever mentioned to me from my solicitor. This thing of a physical copy of my passport is new to me. Do they need to scan it in my presence? I am from Ireland by the way.

    Reasons for Rejection

Only last night I received an email to say I was rejected on the grounds I did not submit my passport within seven days of notification. This is a joke because 1) We received no email notification and 2) We had actually submitted the scanned passport.. I am getting told by my solicitor this is...

Application Rejected on Missing Passport even though it was submitted.

Hi Everyone, I wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. My paralegal emailed to me last night to inform me my EE application was rejected on the grounds I had not submitted a passport within 7 days of notification. This is truly ridiculous as we received no email notification and had...

When are you considered "In Status" & Process Time.

Yes I arrived on a Working Holiday visa. Does that mean even though I have sent in my application and I am considered "In Status" I can't work once my visa has expired?

When are you considered "In Status" & Process Time.

So I checked my work permit and the remarks say "Open Work Permit Valid for 2 Years". So does that mean I am fine then? As in I can keep working once my work permit has expires as I have applied for a PR card. Oh by the way I arrived with a Working Holiday permit. Does this mean I am in trouble...

When are you considered "In Status" & Process Time.

So to give you some context my company hired a solicitor to help me with the process. I arrived in Canada on a 2 year work visa from Ireland. As part of my application they made me scan my work visa and added it to the documentation for my application. My work visa does not expire until the end...

When are you considered "In Status" & Process Time.

Hi Everyone, So I am currently living in Canada and I applied for the Inland Spousal Sponsorship program. I have just sent in all my paper work last week. I had two quick questions I was hoping you could help me with: 1) When are you considered "Implied Status" or "In Status" as I have also...

The new EE process has been shunned in the CTV news today

Hi Guys, It appears ALOT of people are not happy about the new EE process. So much so it was even on the news today: http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/top-shelf-workers-students-left-behind-by-new-immigration-rules-lawyers-1.2232553 Its quite an interesting read as the new process has been deemed...

    Third Draw!!

I personally got 477 which was based on my education, work experience, Canadian work experience, IELTS results etc. The 400-500 mark is just a "guesstimation". It could stay around 600 or go below 400. It all depends on peoples scores. Without knowing the average score that applied its hard to...

    Third Draw!!

They have quite the sizeable quota to fill across the CEC and FSW/FTW programs. Like i mentioned before, the amount of people applying with LMIA's was about 1500 last year. The process of getting an LMIA is not full proof and not everyone gets one. My solicitor told me about 80% are accepted...

    Third Draw!!

I agree with you. The only people that will have above 600 points will be those with LMIA or PNP but I would say not a huge amount of people have them. They only released about 1500 LMIA's last year and even those applying now for LMIA will have to wait about 3 months given the process. I can...

CEC Already Working with no LMIA - Scared and Confused

I get the impression from reviewing the information on the second draw that by the time you get your LMIA document you might be selected for ITA anyway. After the second draw the minimum points required went down by 70 (it was 886, went down to 816). I can only imagine that come 2-3 months time...

    Third Draw!!

Given it went down by a whole 70 points after one draw it's hard not to make the assumption it wont go down a lot more in the space of a month or so.
  19. T

    Third Draw!!

The draw appears to be every week. The minimum points required went from 886 to 816 in the 2nd draw, you would have to imagine that non LMIA individuals between 400-500 will be in contention in about 2-3 months. What do you think?
