Still waiting.... :(

Starting to wonder if someone up there is trying to tell me something. :-\ ???

I am sorry to hear about your situation. I hope you will get back your application soon and be able to fill up the NOT APPLICABLE thingy. Good luck to you and to all of us.

Ah well, what can I do....

I am just frustrated because I can't imagine something taking this long to get from Mississauga to London. London Ontario that is...lol How can it be that someone receives something half way across the country in one week and I am going on 2 weeks in the same province??

Canada Post was complaining that they had seen a 50% reduction in mailings during the actual rotating strikes but now are still catching up?? Come on....I find that a little hard to believe.

I am a considerably patient person....but there is a limit. If it is not in the mail today I am going to be calling CIC-M to find out if there is a tracking number for it.

I know of a couple people from the Feb 2011 group who had their packages returned, and both of them didn't get them back until about 4 weeks later.

Oh my! Dair, I am keeping my fingers crossed for U, that Ur patience will not need to be tested that much.

I agree, its in the same province and should not take that long. But then again, its Canada Post and they have proved to me in the past that they are not that efficient. My apologies to anyone who works there or has family that works there; just my experience.

Hang in there, Dair. :)

No offence taken, they are slow sometimes, but nothing like having to deal with them here in Trinidad

I wouldn't be surprised if they had you wait for a while and then you got an "application was received" and "decision was made" in quick succession. Some of these VOs probably just don't update the system as often as others.

still waiting. i have a feeling that the Manila visa office has already my file since it was transferred June 21st. However, there is no update on my ecas still.. so yeah... wait... wait... and more waiting... lol

happy waiting y'all!

You're preaching to the choir sister. All of this business seems so trivial in the first place and so annoying and patience-testing. I have not heard anything about the whereabouts of my CSQ application mailed a month ago either.....and like you I'm sure, the mail I get is a letter a day, not the flood of two weeks' worth of stuff all at once I had envisioned.

yeah i read in some threads that they waited about a month to get their package back for a missing signature...

Well, with what a few of you have said I am in for a considerable wait for it to get back to me. So much for it getting to Rabat before Ramadan.

Ok, well I guess I will take a break from all this for a while. Seems I have another couple of weeks to wait so I will see you when I get there.

Best wishes to you all. I really hope none of you have to endure this for too much longer.

Hey Dair, I just wanted to say keep your chin up! At least you know what's going on with your application; we still haven't heard and even when I phone the call centre, they are unable to tell me anything. The system is saying nothing, so what can they tell me really?

I'm trying to get on with life and not worry so much, but it's sooooo hard!

All i can say is everything works out in its time. I have been frutrated by so many events in life and in the end things always work out, maybe not the exact way I wanted it, but it works out nonetheless. If you are a believer, just trust in God.

Oh man... I can't imagine your frustration. It seems to be very odd that they have NO INFO in their system for you. Do they acknowledge receipt of your application? Meaning do they find you when they look you up? Or you are not in there at all?

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I know I am not the only one and as odd as it sounds that kinda keeps me going...LOL I am just going to take a break from this for a bit. Coming on here everyday is more painful at the moment as it just reminds me of my stupid mistake and the grief it is causing me.

I am going out to celebrate a friends birthday tonight, tomorrow is cleaning, Sat is picking up my daughter from camp and car races in the evening (VIP seats no less 8) woohoo!!).

Hope you all have good news....or even some news soon. ;D

You are right trini....I am going to try and think of this as an adventure. Not all parts are pleasant but overall you end up having a great time and it is worth it in the end. God is greater than any circumstance in our lives. Thanks for the reminder :D
