What!! File Transfer June 14, 2011 and Received on June 24??? 10 days! Thats just ridiculous. I thought they said CIC used their own special international mail delivery system and not Canada Post.

How "efficient". Not very encouraging; I had better relax on checking my ecas every other second. :'(

No worries, your not raining on parade. Another guy from April application to the same VO, it took 20 days, so I was expecting something like that. Im good with 10 days Although i agree, it should be much quicker, not so long. But at least i know its in there hands now only taking 10 and not 20 days later ;D

still waiting. i have a feeling that the Manila visa office has already my file since it was transferred June 21st. However, there is no update on my ecas still.. so yeah... wait... wait... and more waiting... lol

Hello, she meant the Sponsor's DM We just put the date under File Transfer, because as what stated in the mail, it has been forwarded to Manila

I am confused with your timeline. You have AOR on May 4 and your passport request was June. Or you mean sponsor got approved last May 4?

file transfer is when cpc-m sent the documents to the visa office (in my case manila). file transfer is actually done in the same day of the sponsor approval

have you ever tried the e-cas tracker that some people have been talking about? It says it will generate not shown updates. Like it is much faster than waiting for ecas to update.
