I don't know how you do that!! I have to be honest if we did not talk on a semi daily basis I would NOT be doing this. Please don't get me wrong because I love my husband very much but this is not the kind of relationship I want for long term. I am also not getting any younger and I know he wants to have a child and I want another also. It's not like we are in our twenties doing this.

We don't have a choice but to be "tough". If we were not we would be bumbling messes in front of our children and what good would that do?? You sound very much like me in that I am extremely independent and like you I like to do what I want when I want. But I also know that eventually kids grow up and leave and I don't want to be growing old alone.

You are right, I am lucky and thankful that I get to spend the time I do with him. I really don't know how you guys do it. I don't know if is the fact that you knew each other so long before or not but I give you a lot of credit!!

Any update on Ur package? Have U received it by any chance? If its just the NA missing, U can probably send it back the same day U get it, right?

U know, that U have raised Ur daughter alone for ten years is outstanding! I have raised mine for only 2 years and I know how difficult it is. Keep it up! I am sure Ur husband is very proud of U and soon, there will be no need for us to keep up with these long-distance relationships.

Sorry guys, maybe I didn't explain myself fully....I'm a permanent resident living in Canada. My daughter lives here with me, but she is British. My British CLP resides in England. So, the two people I'm sposoring live in different countries to each other. I think this could be the thing that's holding everying up.

No news for me still . I really don't understand what the big hold up is? There has been no contact whatsoever from them, everything I know is what I've gained from calling the call centre. I'm so effin' frustrated. Trust me to be the one who gets the idiot working on my file.

Maybe you are already approved but they did not send you email, just the conventional mail. Have you tried checking your ecas using the receipt number and sponsors' info? It will show if you are already approved.

E-Cas. 5 days after my sponsor approval email on the 13th, I got a permanent residence update to say they had received it.

We received XXXX's application for permanent residence on June 17, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

I'm still waiting to be approved as sponsor in Quebec though, and London will need a copy my husbands's CSQ to proceed with his permanent residence application.
