manila visa office requests for passport early but they will hold on to it until we reached a decision made. so we are left with no passports until they finally decide that they will grant us visas lol

now i have to send a document to london visa office that i didn't include in my application.
does anyone know the correct address for london visa office?
i've done a covering letter and included both our receipt and client id number so they can marry them up
i'd like to send it tomorrow so it arrives asap

I am not sure what to expect next. As far as the Manila visa office is concerned, the next letter is the passport request and, if applicable, additional documents. they usually send it in 3 weeks time after file transfer.

If there are NO issues and lacking requirements, Manila will only take 3 to 6 months.

Dont worry too much. Hopefully, early next week. Do something different to take Ur mind off this for the weekend, at least. No need ruining your long weekend, we dont get a lot of them.

Thankfully we are visiting a friend tonight for bonfire, 9am strawberry picking, afternoon packing and taking a hike in the forest near our home, Sun morning church, afternoon heading out to drop daughter off at camp for a week ;D and all in between laundry and cleaning.

Yup, I will be distracted...LOL

PPR is the long-awaited passport request letter when they ask you to send them your passport so they can stamp it and let's hope to God that everyone will receive it!

Whats this PPR? Does everyone get it?
I am afraid, I suck at acronymns (sp?)

Also, I am not 100% sure of the next steps now.

1. Please what is the next communication to be expected from CIC after sponsorship approval?
2. Will this communication be via email, letter or phone call?
3. Who gets this communication: The sponsor or the person being sponsored?
4. I would also like to know how soon to expect this communication, but I am guessing that depends on the visa office, right?

Lol, that was random! But anyway, you are really inspiring others in how you stay strong during these setbacks and we are all rooting for you to finally get that damn approval once the posties send you back your app and you redo it. You deserve that most! I still don't understand how since the strike ended the only substantial thing we've got in the mail was one....yes, ONE...letter (about a late book to the Bibliotheque Nationale). The other stuff was flyers. Granted, it's only been two mail days but still! Really, Canada Post?? So I still don't know where my CSQ is :-\

Yes I was aproved on June 1. They sent me an email with the news.
