Well he just got a rejection letter today from one, got a rejection e-mail from another. He's a little put down by all of the rejections

On the bright side, I got a sorta job? haha It's only a day long though!

Malawi is great.. I do love it over there.. and I will post a pic or two for you tonight.. as I don't have any at work!! I love all of your suggestions.. I still got a few hot spots to see in Africa, but I quite love Zanzibar and could stay on the beach in Kendwa for weeks, and never tire!!! I am trying to make the most of my stop overs when flying to Africa as i usually have to connect somewhere in Europe.. but my ultimate destination.. not sure.. always wanted to explore Costa Rica and see what the hype outta KG and POS threads are all about!!

oh i've heard niiice things about costa rica! Would like to go there too. Hey let's ask tuyen to have the meeting in costa rica instead, i'm sure he wouldn't mind flying us all there! I'm pretty fluent in Spanish so could ask the locals if we needed anything oh how sweet of you, if it's not too much trouble it'd be great to see a pic or two!!

Considering how rude HR and hiring managers have become, getting even a letter is really awesome. Most don't see the point. They claim they're too busy, it costs too much money, blah blah blah. Then they complain how rude job seekers are, not calling them back, showing up late. Talk about calling the kettle black.

I've found it takes me about 6 weeks to find a job. It will probably take me longer once I land, because I plan to be picky lol. Oh, and demand at least one Friday off a month. Hubby has Friday/Saturday off. If we ever want to be able to take weekend trips, that's going to be needed.

That should be a requirement 1 or 2 days a month. Where did all those flex days go.. We all need a mental health day that doesn't cut into vacation time!!

No kidding. Plus giving some flex days/time off like that increases productivity in employees. Too much work and stress are killers. Unless someone has a personal motivation to work non-stop (like meeting sales goals to get a huge bonus) it's a drain on the entire process.

But even when you want the extra stress/hours/money, you can get sick of it after a while. I worked two jobs before I moved just to make extra money (which was very needed!) and kill boredom. After two months, though, I was over it.
