Yeah it's like when I went to get my health card. They pretty much ignored me other than copying off my PR and started asking my husband questions about his. It was like I wasn't even there. So annoying. Of course it was bad right off the bat because I don't speak much french yet ( we're in Quebec) so he's asking my husband all these questions in french, knowing full well I don't speak it. On top of that, it was obvious french was not his first language either. Nor English. Maybe I'm reading this wrong but I've felt judged often already since I came here. I'm trying to adjust but it's hard. Am I being weird? Can I find somewhere to talk to folks about this? It feels really awkward to feel this way. I'm afraid I'll offend someone
