IKR! I want to move to the NW.... hahaha. The only good thing about Forest Lawn is you can see the mountains when you head to Deerfoot.

Oh, speaking of Deerfoot, we drove by where that sign fell during the windstorm. It's not fixed it! No sign!

Well I can see them from home.. quite enjoy a mountain view out my front window...

Is that the only perk to living in Forest Lawn?

gotta love missing signs when you need them most!!

My mother-in-law lives there, so yes... only perk :P

I'm off to try to con hubby into getting some lettuce. Co-op had nasty lettuce, so we didn't get any. Now I want a BLT. Figures :P

Cloth diapers! Mameelynn, you're gonna have to tell me where to get them in the future. I've been looking online already, and they cost about $30 PER diaper. I'm scared already at the initial cost.

I am totally for cloth. Not only is it cost effective, but so much better for baby and the environment. Less stinky nappies going to the landfills. I just switched to cloth pads too. I also have a Mooncup, which I've had for about three years now. Feels so good to be in control of things like this.

With reagards to the snipping and piercing, I'm all for it as soon as possible after birth. I've had my ears pierced since I can remember, and I remember my mum told me my brother had his snipping done a few days after he was born. My husband had his at around puberty, and it seems like there was more cleaning and care involved when done at a later time.

Aaaah I used a diva cup for about six years. I'm the HUGEST advocate for menstrual cups. Unfortunately I'm back to pads because of my birth control choices, but I cannot stress how lifechanging using a cup was for me!!

I can't believe I missed the diva up for so long! Is it better for you as well? Well besides the fact that is better for your pocket.

It blessed me in so many ways other than the cost factor. Shorter periods, very little leaking, no irritation from pads and tampons, etc. It shortened my period to three days and that was the best thing. I get horrible periods so suffering for less time was amazing!

I've been using an IUD since I got married and unfortunately I'm not one of the lucky ones who can use a cup and the IUD at the same time! :(

YAY YAY YAY

There are soooo many. Choose the one that's best for you. If you are prone to leaks, diva is good, but upon insertion it has stronger suction than the other cups! That's why it tends to shorten periods. The Lunette holds the most liquid, but it's stiffer than some of the others. The Keeper is rubber, not silicone, and holds a small amount in comparison to some of the others... and it's ugly. But there's no wrong choice because they're all smart choices! Every body is different.

Did tuyen get banned?

I was under the impression (based on some of his comments) that Tuyen had an extended vacation this month.

Ditto on the yay's! I love my cup. It was life changing for me since I hated the feel of disposable pads. My only boo-boo is that I get minor leaks sometimes. I tend to forget to empty on time and it overflows. Can't help it, it's so comfy and I forget it's in there! Luckily I bought and use cloth pads now. No more disposable liners too I have ones from Party in My Pants and Just Fussy. Both are great!

Yep, being comfy is a slight downside because all of a sudden after six hours I remember I'm bleeding lol.
