It's the thought that counts right?parker24 said:I got an email today from the ecase tracker stating that Tony landed Jan 4th... REALLY? Just a tad late And it's been deactivated. Well at least until he applies for citizenship, then I'll be activating that thing again haha
Good morning all! 11am here EST and Hubby just went to let the dogs out. We MIGHT be going to the gym. I mentioned it last night to Tony and he's all for it. This morning I mention it again and it's "ARRGH really?" : Yes dear, really. I had a fat day yesterday trying to fit into hoodies I had, waah! :'( Note that the key word is TRYING.
I agree with this.. until trying doesn't even come close and feels like a full hour workout just to get an arm through!amikety said:It's the thought that counts right?
Ikr. I think it only counts for dieting.Ms Malawi said:I agree with this.. until trying doesn't even come close and feels like a full hour workout just to get an arm through!
If you say so.. though what about those of us who aren't dieting???amikety said:Ikr. I think it only counts for dieting.
Ugh, the renos upstairs are driving me nuts. They're stapling baseboard now. So freaking noisy.
How is everyone today? Up with the sunshine/snowflakes?
I'm trying to study for my first exam. With renos going on. Lol.Ms Malawi said:If you say so.. though what about those of us who aren't dieting???
I would rather be curled up in my warm bed watching the snow fall than sitting at work trying to be productive.
I quite agree.. I was looking into new places to visit in Africa... Thinking my next trip is going to include Zambia, and Botswana as I want to see Kasane (for the wildlife) and Victoria Falls!amikety said:I'm trying to study for my first exam. With renos going on. Lol.
We should go back to planning vacations. That was more fun. My husband wants to go to Victoria this summer and see whales.
That sounds fun. Waterfalls <3 I have this sexy image in my head of Mr. M bursting through the water, sweeping you up in his arms hehehe.Ms Malawi said:I quite agree.. Trust me.. that would be the day that Mr M actually enjoys waterfalls. He hates the ocean and only seems to enjoy Lake Malawi (his home). And don't get me started on him and animals.. He refuses to be a tourist with me when I wanna see wildlife.. luckily the rest of his family enjoys going with me!amikety said:That sounds fun. Due to the money issues I've whined about, we will only be able to afford one real vacation this year. I'd prefer we go to see my father-in-law in Kelowna before we going whale watching. I love the idea of whale watching... tons! But I like seeing fil and the step-mother-in-law better. But we'll see. Maybe hubby has a plan.
Maybe. Hubby wanted to fly to Victoria. (As you know, I hate flying.) Maybe we could fly to Kelowna, see dad, then drive to Victoria? I'll have to talk to him about it. Either way, we have lots of time. Vacation is for Labour Day!Ms Malawi said:Trust me.. that would be the day that Mr M actually enjoys waterfalls. Any vacation outta town is worthwhile.. and seems like your hubby has some good ideas when he plans.. Maybe you are driving and making a detour to see your father in law on the way!
Lots of plans and lots of options.. But never hurts to start "planning" or in my case dreaming. I think my vacations or my trips "home" are what make it all worthwhile somedays!amikety said:Maybe. I could not have said it better! I feel at such peace in the mountains, by the lake.Ms Malawi said:Lots of plans and lots of options.. But never hurts to start "planning" or in my case dreaming. I think my vacations or my trips "home" are what make it all worthwhile somedays!
