Ill share my love story My hubby n I met while I was staying in Jamaica and we have been together for 8 years going strong have an adorable lil girl and married almost 2 years this is how it all began it was on saturday while shopping in the supermarket I noticed that i had eyes all over me fr this very handome 6 2 very light youngan that was wrking with national at the time when i cashing out i was given a green paper with red writing and it had number and a name so i ignored it all becaz hey thinking it was just another someone looking to play games so after 2 days i decided to call when i called he invited me over and one thing led to another and our relationship developed agter three years of being together i got pregnant had my lil girl we moved to canada then we got married very small wedding in church in ja we could not afford anything big to only four ppl attended including us we are all in this process and looking forward for him to come so we can raise our daughter

Thank u my hubby is 5 year older than i am maddants dont worry my grandma was 79 wen she got married n brought her hubby last year n he is 56

well i bucked the whole system lol hubby is 6 years older then me!

Well.....my first story was short and sweet, i didn't know we all wanted mushy details so I will give you mine lol My girlfriend was dating a friend of my hubby's and she asked me if I wanted to go for a drive with her as she had to take her boyfriends friend to simcoe to see his brother who was up in Canada on farm work so I said sure, i got nothing better to do might as well. When I got out of the car there is my hubby sitting on the porch just waiting and when i walked past him he spoke saying "whats up girl, looking good" I just laughed him off and thought "whatever" to myself. Well the whole night visiting his brother he keep telling all the guys on the farm to take their eyes off me as I was taken......not that I understand him at the time because I had never been around Jamaican people before and as you know they talk faster then fast lol well we dated for a bit before I ended up moving in with him. I always said that God put us together at that time because we both needed each other, he had just lost his daughter 6 months earlier as she was killed by gunmen in JA and i had just seperated from a 20 year marriage that I had with my children's father. We helped each other to get through the rough times and it has been history since then. We got married in January of last year, it was kind of a big affair as I have a huge family but it was beautiful and I wouldn't change it for nothing. 3 days after the wedding, we had a meeting with immigration as my hubby had applied for refugee after his daughter was killed but he was denied and they told him he had 20 days to leave Canada and go back to JA, we begged the officer to give us a little more time and he extended it to 30 days. In February he went back to JA. This process has been really taxing and I am one to really hold things in but I am really losing it this weekend as it is my 1st anniversary and couldn't even spend it with my hubby. I guess we can all have bad days eh!

Thanks to everyone for sharing their stories, it really give you a sense of the other people to hear their life stories also especially when we are all going thru this at the same time.

My story . Before I went down to JA I was so deppressed at that time I didn't realize it until I healed myself I could look back and see how unhappy I was. I did everything to make myself happy. I bought my house, I owned my own jeep and I had a good job, but for some reason I felt like I had failed myself. I had just left my baby father who was a selfish man. I was exsisting for my kids but not living. My husband is a close friend of my family in jamaica. So one night we were playing dominoes and I was losing. My husband gave me six love, so I was getting up because I lost and my hubby said to me don't get up play again better luck next time. Those words was like magic to my ears because I played again and I gave all of them six. When he said that to me it changed my life forever because I took it as You made mistakes in life, but don't give up brush yourself off try again( better luck next time) and I did just that sounds funny but for weeks that all I heard in my head. I came back home thinking about him like crazy. but I was afraid because of our age difference 7 years apart. We started talking and our relationship grew stronger and stronger and then his age didn't matter to me anymore. I remember sitting in church asking God what is it about this guy and I got my answer. You don't fall in love with someone because of what they look like or because of what they do. Love is beyond the flesh I didn't even realize my hubby was good looking until after, his body is just his body. Inside of our body is our soul. We had a connection and that's when I realize that he was God sent. God knew what I needed and God sent the right person to pull me up. I have been travelling there ever since. on Jan 1 2012 on my birthday we decided to get married because we love each other and we want to be with each other for the rest of our lives on Jan 6 2012 we got married. Some of my family wasn't happy about it because he's poor and not educated but my to me is the richest man out their because his heart is of gold and the wisest because it was like God himself was talking to me. I am now living and loving life and I have learned to have faith in God trust him and believe him. Sorry guys I know it's long and this is a short version.

on Jan 1 2012 on my birthday we decided to get married because we love each other and we want to be with each other for the rest of our lives on Jan 6 2012 we got married.

Wonderful story samll. These love stories are great. Love conquers all things. Sometimes we come up against opposition in life and dont quiet understand whats happening as we wade through the waters. But later when the storm has passed we see that the winds and strong tide was designed to push us forward. Keep the love connection stories coming. I am really enjoying them.
