However, in 2017, when I applied for my study permit, I already provided my biometrics, and the website states that biometrics are valid for 10 years. There is a question in the application that asks you whether you have valid Biometrics and another question, whether you want to provide your biometrics again. If you have answered yes to this then you will have to pay 85$

I was told processing time for visiting parents to help take care of grandkids was faster, but until now I haven't got any luck yet.

she's a permanent resident of Italy but she's Filipino, currently residing in Philippines.
Do you think these details are affecting the delay in the process?

I am desperate to have my mom here as both me and my husband are working and the kids don't have school. We are forced to put them to Day care/ youth camps for the whole day and is getting too expensive.
