Thats correct, Canadian passport doesn't require a US visa on it. You just show the USCIS approval copy and Canadian passport at the land or air border to US CBP and they issue the I-94 and appropriate non-immigrant status like H1, L1, B1 etc., accordingly (just for clarity to others: no physical stamps now, but I meant I-94 online :) ).
Do we need i94 stampings even with a Canadian passport? I thought Canadian citizens are exempt from i94 stampings at the borders? Did I get the wrong?

What is your timeline / Office? I have been waiting 2 months for LPP to just to start...
I got FP request on Sept 18 and i did it on Sept 19 but my LPP completed on Sept 25 on the tracker but history shows as Sept 20. and i haven’t received any update if the FP has been received or not because my BG is still in process and citizenship is still not started

Good morning Everyone,
By the grace of the Almighty, I got in the tracker today October 11 as Scheduled for Oath. But I have not received any email. How many days does it take to get the email. Thank you

In my case the update to complete the LPP was made in August 28th and updated in August 30th, since that date still waiting for the Oath.
Sorry about that. That's a long wait. I'm sure you will get it very soon. I am processed by Montreal too. My test was marked complete sep 3. And language prohibitions completed on sep 13. Physical presence is still pending. When was your test marked as complete? Trying to find how long it took between test complete and lpp complete

@skonduru - You have sufficient time so don't have to reschedule oath.
If you have in-person oath, you would get the paper certificate right away during your ceremony. If it is virtual, you can let them know during your ceremony about your travel plan and they would prioritize and issue your e-certificate the same day.

With your certificate in hand you can walk-n the same day or next day to Passport office. They have urgent and express options. Urgent is for next business day and express is if you need it in 2-9 business days. Take your flight tickets and any other documents you have related to your travel (hotel bookings etc). They will issue the passport accordingly. Urgent is $110 extra and express is $50 extra on top of regular passport charges.

You can also request reschedule of your oath by replying to the oath invite email but it can unnecessarily delay your application, as some office reschedule within a week of return and few are waiting for months! Also note that re-schedule of oath is also at the discretion of the IRCC officer and they sometimes do not entertain such requests.
Thank you. I will have my flight tickets and hotel tickets by this weekend and will carry them for the passport. Appreciate your inputs.

In my case, I have a B1 on my current passport and I wont have enough time to have my passport surrendered. Also, I am just transiting through US to Mexico.
I am planning to submit the application once I get my Canadian passport and take a copy to show to the immigration officer that its in process.
Fatefully :( , this is my first travel after my NEXUS application got conditionally approved on my current passport. Not sure how that's gonna go. The Canadian interview is scheduled in November, however the US one, I believe happens at the post of entry.
