How long does it take for background verification to complete after fingerprints?
You don't have to complete the surrender of the Indian passport right away. You have 3 years to do that as long as you don't use it to travel. In my case, I have a B1 on my current passport and I wont have enough time to have my passport surrendered. Also, I am just transiting through US to Mexico.
I am planning to submit the application once I get my Canadian passport and take a copy to show to the immigration officer that its in process.
Fatefully , this is my first travel after my NEXUS application got conditionally approved on my current passport. Not sure how that's gonna go. The Canadian interview is scheduled in November, however the US one, I believe happens at the post of entry.

I dont have an idea about those regions. But it seems to me that Calgary seemed slower than other regions like Manitoba or even edmonton, based on the few profiles i have seen. One of my friends is in Manitoba and his file processed pretty quickly.Any info regarding timeline for that office?
I was trying to find that in sheet
Stuck since July after giving test. SCR officeDefinitely agree. SCR has been consitently fast. Montreal is quick for some and bit slower for others. Still pretty good. I havent compared the time between LPP completion and Oath. The one case i saw , it was within a week.
Sorry. Always exceptions. In general it's been quick. Do you have long travel history or were you asked for fingerprints when applying for PR?Stuck since July after giving test. SCR office
