I have a curiosity:
For passport do we have to apply by ourself separately or it's a part of citizenship process?
If we have to do it separately then do we have to prepare our documents/ application all ready well in advance?

It’s a separate application. You need the citizenship certificate before you can apply. You will need:

1. passport application form
2. Photos
3. IDs like DL/ health card or foreign paszport
4. Signature of guarantor on form and back of one photo (has to be Canadian citizen with a passport)
5. Contact information of two references

Apply at a Canada Passport Office not just service Canada Center which forwards to one of the passport offices. When you search for locations for passport application, the one that say passport office are the ones which are faster. 10 business days for passport office vs 20 business days turnaround for regular service centers

Yeah, I think it's because the local office does not have your file yet. Sydney will not do LPP and only your local office will. It's a waiting game at this point and it's a lottery depending on where you live and which office you were assigned to. The process is unfair to some applicants.
I got FP request on Sep 17, BG marked completed on Oct 30 and the letter said that my file remains at my local office (Van office in my case) for processing.
I hope they still have my file here in Vancouver.
