I applied in June and my test and background were completed in July. Since then I have not heard a single thing - LPP is still not started and assigned to RC-8090. Based on what I have seen in other threads is a small number of AOR's from April/May are getting movement which indicates that they are backlogged and are slowly processing AOR's from there.

To better help you, under "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT" - Is this blank or are there values there?
Found these on some other thread.

RC-9515: Case Processing Centre, Ottawa
RC-8090: Case Processing Centre, Sydney
RC-6100: Visa Office, Accra
RC-6029: Visa Office, New Delhi
RC-9245: Operations Support Centre (OSC)
RC-6262: Centralized Intake Office (CIO)
RC-9518: Case Processing Centre, Edmonton
RC-3296: Visa Office, Etobicoke

Btw my LPP is not started and all say assigned to RC8090

There are values. It says the below:
APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
Due Date : 2024/11/08
Assigned by: SR12184
Assigned to : SA22020
Do not quote me on this but you will be fine. Expect an update shortly, if not by next week. Your LPP will just turn all green. By the looks of your notes, your application is assigned to an officer and is actioned to take action today.

Yeah, I think it's because the local office does not have your file yet. Sydney will not do LPP and only your local office will. It's a waiting game at this point and it's a lottery depending on where you live and which office you were assigned to. The process is unfair to some applicants.

I just saw my account and language and physical presence turned to complete today but not prohibitions. I thought LPP gets marked complete together. The GCMS notes do not really make sense. As per the notes dated 2024/11/06 my LPP didnt even start. Do you know why prohibitions didnt?

Its totally normal. My physical presence took longer than other two since i had more travel. For people who are close to 1095 days, it may trigger additional review. For many, prohibitions takes longer if there is a name match or presence in multiple countries before (specially more than 6 months) or they had run in with law etc. Did you get fingerprint request? If everything is clear , then LPP may take a day or few days for some. So if it says not started on 11/06 it is not surprising if its completed today same day. Not familiar with notes, so ill let others comment on how that works. Date of extraction does or does not show latest status and if there is delay

Thank you. I didnt get any finger print request and my background check was completed during test as well. The notes say that my criminality was passed aswell.

Mine is the same status, AOR July 2, Background completed July 12 and test completed on Aug 16 and no updates after that. How do I see where the APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT is for me? Wondering if mine is even assigned to an office.

Have you requested GCMS notes?

I have a curiosity:
For passport do we have to apply by ourself separately or it's a part of citizenship process?
If we have to do it separately then do we have to prepare our documents/ application all ready well in advance?
