eponine0609 said:hi! all documents (document checklist, application forms supporting documents and fee payment form) must be sent to CIO-Nova Scotia in Canada. check the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp, the address should be there as well, make sure you use the address for the courier (2 addresses kasi nakalist dun isang snail mail and the other one if you opt to choose a courier). Try to read the instruction guide for filling out the forms and the details of supporting documents. Once you send your application in the CIO wait around 60-65 days for their review. If you get the positive eligibility review (PER) your application packet will be forwarded to CEM (Visa Office Manila).
Just make sure you take time to read the website to guide you with the process, because if your documents are not complete or if your application forms are not completely filled out, it will be returned to you.
Transcript of records as long as it is original and in university sealed envelope regardless of the date issued, it should be fine. Your other docs are fine as well as long as it is notarized or in your case in red ribbon from DFA.
Remember read the instruction guide and fill out the new forms. Review your application packet before you send them.
Thank you so much eponine0609 i pray that u will get PR coz u helped a lot of people.
Panu po yung TOR ko papa-sealed ko sa university enveloped pero nakared-ribbon na po kasi yun? Can i send wihout the sealed envelope as long as it is a red ribbon docs?
And just for clarification, i do not need to go to Makati visa office i will just send my docs directly to CIO-Nova Scotia?
THANK YOU AGAIN..

in my case, i only sent notarized photocopy of TOR to CIO, not original and university-sealed, the only original doc that i sent is the IELTS results. brandonyac, make sure that all photocopied documents are notarized by a judge or public attorney. i don't discourage you sending the originals, but notarized copies are okey. however, we should also be ready with the originals if ever VO requests us to present these to them during the process.
merciguerrero, yeah this will be the best way to approach brandonyac's situation, just send your transcript of records (notarized copies) and have the original (in a sealed envelope, if possible) if CEM ask for it later. thanks!merciguerrero said:hi eponine and brandonyac,

There's part of paper I received.jmora said:What was the reason mentioned by CIC for rejection of your application? It doesn't matter whether you have work experience in US or another country. The important thing is that you should have experience working in one of the 29 occupations accepted for PR.
Yes. There are peaple who got rejection the first time, got their acts together, applied again and succeded.
Congrats...u needn't have worried. Good luck for the rest of the process......MandieGods Grace said:Dear All,

Seems to me that neither 6233 nor 6223 are in the NOC list. check out this linkponchita said:There's part of paper I received.
"We have assessed your declared occupations against the list of occupations identified by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26,2010. Your occupations do not correspond to any of the eligible occupations.
Now I was cheking the document returned to me.
My current occupations is Merchandiser from 09.2009. And my lawyer typed the code 6223. But When I check the actual code for Merchandiser is 6233. And on my document next to my current occupation there's note " not valid". Maybe this is the reason I was rejected.
I also have sales experience in the past. But for that I found the note "valid"
If this i sthe main reason I waas rejected. Hard to believe. What for did I hire lawyer?
