Today my application was returned. I have daughter in law. She is the daughter of my husband. And his ex wife is taking custody. We don't take her to Canada. But they are requesting my daughter in law's birth cirtificate and pictures. Is it supposed to be? I was wondering something mistake.

I also asked my lawyer yesterday. He said, it's ok to wait outside U.S., but it would be better to have status in U.S.. Really? Even you submitted more than 1 year ago, it seems to take time. I have to be more patient.
