Hi Experts,

Please help me with the relevant information...

I got married around 1.5 years back..Me and my wife didn't change my status from Single to Married in passports. I applied for PR Canada under FSW category where my wife is also the co applicant as I wanted her points too to qualify with required points.

I sent Marriage Certificate as the proof of marriage.

My ecas shows RBVO. Now, if with gods grace I get medicals request or Passport request. Does it create any problems that time as both the passprts shows Single.

I also confirmed with the regional Passport office in New delhi for change of status. They told me, it will be treated as Re issuance of the passport with different passport number.

I dnt know wat to do???

Hi Vikas,

Even i had same case.
after sending my application i got my passport re=issued as i had to change my spouse status n address change coz whn i went for PCC to PSK they said it will create prob for my spouse as im principle applicant and my status is single in PP n PCC. so i had to re-issue.
But i hav not updated wid NDVO coz few experts advised me to update when PP Request comes.
I even sent email to NDVO twice for the procedure to update my new PP but got no reply.
In my opinion u shud get ur PP re-issued.
Experts/ seniors....wht u say?

Before 28/11 it was RBVO...It got changed on 28/11 to IP and now also its IP.

Hi Experts,

Yesterday, I got my and my wife's medicals done. I may send the passports in next 1 week.

I m the Primary applicant. I am planning to land in Canada first. <b>Can my wife come after 3-4 months????</b>

I am blessed with a daughter 2 mnths back. I didnt intimate the CIC as she hasnt got the passport. In India, to apply for the passport for a minor, one of the parents passports should be updated with Married status. Which none of us have.

Now, I am thinking that once we get the visa stamped, I should send my wife's Passport for Reissuance with Married status and also apply my daughter paasport with that. This may take 2-3 months. After that they both can come to Canada.

Kindly help me out as I am really confused.
