My citizenship test window is friday July 21 August 10.
I didn't receive the instruction email, do you think I have to wait or contact them now?

So apparently I cannot take the test for which I'm scheduled since it was cancelled due to the inner tech issue. First it was re-scheduled, now it's cancelled.

Took the oath today morning and got my e-certificate later in the evening...Officially a Canadian citizen as of today. Been a long and rewarding journey!!!

Took the oath today morning and got my e-certificate later in the evening...Officially a Canadian citizen as of today. Been a long and rewarding journey!!!

Hey gang,

Just a little update!

As most of you know I've been stuck on LPP "In Progress" since my citizenship test on March 24th (2023). Since then - no updates. On May 30, I was asked to provide electronic scanned copies of my passport(s), which I did same day. Recently I contacted IRCC via the webform - received a generic template reply basically saying "we cannot tell you anything". At the same time, I also contacted my local Vancouver citizenship office via email, and received basically the same reply, but more intimidating saying - "Emails regarding file status will not be answered." So no info... Hope this week more of January 2023 applicants can get their LPPs completed. It's about time!

How is it that you got an e-certificate? When I took my oath and asked the agent who took our details, she said that the e-certificates were just being trialled.

Congrats - my ceremony is on the same day - I will see on the 27th!

Got email for virtual ceremony. looks like they are combining different provinces under same virtual ceremony. See you on the 27th- congrats for your oath

no, the tracker still shows the invitation to take the test within the allocated time

Been reading a lot about LPPs being issued by the SCR office, even on the facebook forums. Must be a change of management there .. LOL
So happy for those who've had their files stuck at the SCR office forever
