Luckily my job allows me to work from a distance & I have really understanding/supportive bosses, so it's worked out well up to now. I've got some business to do in Europe too, so will fly from Zurich on Emirates to Manila. I've never flown Delta but Emirates has been by far the best airline experience I've ever had, just in economy class too.Edgehead78 said:

I did receive an email last Friday from the dept. acknowledging receipt BUT it is not the typical email you get from them. It was sent to me direct due to an inquiry into the file as nothing had been done at that point. Now I am being told that my file is "in process". No client ID or file # has been assigned to my file at this time. So really...so it seems I don't even have an official AOR yet. They told me to call back in a couple of weeks.

My sympathies too ama1978....maybe think positively in that it hasn't been lost or anything that catastrophic. Hopefully once they get their attention back on it they will realize their error and expedite it. It is odd that you didn't get an "official" AOR, why would they send another email, and what does an email like that even look like?
