One of my friend he got his AOR VIA PAPER MAIL in august 8 but he cannot access ecas. Anybody can tell me whats the reason?
Yes, you can.eklabooo said:- can we do inland processing as I still have a work permit good until Nov2015?
Leaving Canada is not generally recommended as if you are refused at the border it can lead to a refusal of your application. With a current TRV and WP I wouldn't expect you to have any issues re-entering Canada generally.eklabooo said:- if we get married and do inland processing can we go to the Philippines and get married again? Will it affect the inland process and my status as a Foreign Worker?
How long have you been working in Canada? Do you know the NOC category of your job? Because I recommend CEC for anyone that can qualify for it - you get your work permit in 2 months and your partner doesn't have a sponsorship obligation (and your own PR is not conditional). If the rumoured change comes through for inland OWPs, then you'd be OK with the inland process as well. Outland is faster - you'd probably be done by November 2015, but that's not guaranteed. You could either attempt to extend your work permit, or you could change to visitor status and await the completion of your file. Since you are already in Canada legally, you could also request processing through Ottawa (CPC-O), it doesn't have to be done through Manila.eklabooo said:- which is the better thing to do? inland or outland despite of my current status in Canada.
Yes that's AORSerenity03 said:Hi!
We submit our application November 3, 2014 and CPC-Vegrevillle received it November 4, 2014. Earlier today CIC email me that they received my application already, I just want to ask if this is AOR? Btw, I'm the applicant.
Thank you!
Thank you Nismopinoy!nismopinoy said:Yes that's AOR

Now...you have to wonder what they mean by "eligible applicants in the current inventory". I guess that would seem to confirm those that have had AOR for months, but maybe...only some of those?sophieee said:Looks like this year Christmas is coming on Monday:

Yeah, I know, the other worrisome phrase is "to certain spouses or common-law partners". But let's hope they just wanted to be super careful with the wording. We will see it on Monday!Ponga said:Now...you have to wonder what they mean by "eligible applicants in the current inventory". Either way, a huge improvement!

Eric Laine: UPDATE FROM CIC 5:00 PM ET Saturday: All people with existing spousal sponsorship will be eligible for OWP under the pilot EXCEPT those who applied without the status (out of status people). There will be some basic screening to detect frauds.
Yes, that's it with something like "This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on YYYY/MM/DD on behalf of the following member(s)..."anng said:This is the best news ever.. sophiee my husband rcvd it he is the applicant and it goes like this this confirms that your application for PR under FCS has been rcvd by CIc on may 7. And it has a F and followed by 9 numbers on top right corner. Do u think it is still aor? And up to now we cant access it in ecas. So worried.sophieee said:Yes, that's it with something like "This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on YYYY/MM/DD on behalf of the following member(s)..."
I think it doesn't matter if the applicant or the sponsor received it.
There were a couple months when the applicant received the AOR instead of the sponsor, but that's still an AOR, so I don't believe that it could cause any problem.anng said:sophiee my husband rcvd it he is the applicant and it goes like this this confirms that your application for PR under FCS has been rcvd by CIc on may 7.
