Well most people who have implied Status alway sent off their OWP application with their PR application so that is Implied.

I called cic, they said we do not have any information about that. More information will be available maybe today.

That cause complete riots as people with children are no different from without we are all in the same boat.

Hope everything will be alright. We all need work permit it is much important. If we have workpermit we can wait that long time. Otherwise it is very hard to spend time like that.

If you had legal status by the time you sent your app there is a chance that you will eligible. We will see soon... (hopefully)

Ok so, I submitted both my OWP and PR application back in March, I dont have to do anything else but wait

This is certainly good news for everyone here. Quick question:

1. Which site should i use to apply for OWP, you know the site that can download the checklist, the applicantion, and all other supporting document. The current site only provide you the OWP application form - Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker
2. We had applied PR for her since Feb, and her medical exam was done last Nov/Dec. Does she still require to have a medical exam done for this OWP application? or we can send the receipt of her last exam?
3. Is she allowed to travel in and out of the country now, if she did get the OWP?

I know AOR is not the date of the receipt of applications but anybody who received AOR after sending November?

Yeah I just received mine December 19, 2014.

Eric Laine UPDATE FROM Chris Day: "I am told that all applications in the system, (ie., they have a pending FC and open WP) will be blitzed in the new year. Applicants don't have to do anything. Anyone who hasn't submitted an open WP application follows the direction in the OB. Average processing will be 4 months as an upper limit. Meds are only required if the job requires it (medical profession, working with kids, etc)."
