I believe your wife can get OHIP with just her AIP, regardless if she is out of status or not. You may have to fight for it though by applying through OHIP review board for it. We had to do that in order to get my wife OHIP coverage with AIP email letter.

i requested GMCS notes maybe 4 times before AIP and everything was not started yet as well. When the delay started I just gave up ordering my notes. Seems like a long wait but everything will come at once when they start looking at your file! ;D

Mine is March 2014 too, just wait a little , they are still reviewing the February cases.

Really. I requested a week after you did, so I wont be expecting anything too, Oh well.
On a diff note, I did my medicals yesterday (july 09) without waiting for the Med request.

I re-sent my application on March 1st and still nothing yet. I originality sent it Jan 1st but it was returned due to 1 small outdated form.... in total 7 months waiting and NOTHING... furious.
