Pre-arrival letter received on July 27. I received PPR mail about 12-24 hours after my Ecase changed status to DM, which is Aug 3.

My parent's IME was done on July 31 so I guess their visa will be valid until July 2019. However as they are still have some stuff to do, they are thinking to come to Canada somewhere around May-June 2019.

What I meant is for other family class CIC used to require PCC to be original and sealed in order to maintain integrity. Now if we can open envelope and send by email, maybe CIC became care less about this ?

I just realized people are sending PCC through emails. So PGP doesnt require PCC to be sealed ?

Just a quick update, MyCIC just updated IME as Passed status, medical was done on July 30. Took 3 days. Now I'm just waiting on BC, no additional requirement so far. Ottawa

At least they are asking to submit what they need to get your application going so i would assume its not negative.. my parents have been told by the physician that he will let them know if there is any health concern prior he submit the result, but if everything looks fine there wont be any...

For my parents case its more like a job in US and Canada, you find a job and you get next, except government managed Tax related T4 and your acutal colleagues there is almost no way for foreign government to confirm where this person has been worked or schooled..
