our application was received by cic Feb 13th

Still can't find the article in the Toronto Star. I wonder if it got bumped or pushed back.

mary63, that's just unacceptable. These agents give different stories every single time. I would have my sponsor call and demand his UCI or some sort of AOR.

Oh, but I do see that the CIC updated its Family Sponsorship Processing Times page to reflect that they're now working on applications from July 16, 2013 and it's currently an 11 month waiting period for the first stage.

Yes. There are a few people that have gotten an email on the weekend, Sat and Sunday. This led us to believe that CIC have written up the letter and have it sent on a pre-determine date.

Thanks! Me too! I thought they wouldn't send AORs anymore. I was also very surprised when my husband told me about this. It was Saturday night for us (we live on the west coast). We thought they have a computer program that was scheduled to do so on the weekend...

Yes I have a UCI Number

Are you sure, it states on the CIC website... "Working on applications received on July 16, 2013" - At this rate it will be another 6 months until its looked at
