    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Thanks ACS, I'm not expecting much of anything, I was just really curious about how to find out a Canadian sponsor's UCI. Application number, receipt number, etc haven't worked for us to log in yet.

HOW does someone born in Canada even find out what their UCI is?

Thanks! Not really panicking, just annoyed. Why do they say in the AOR Email that we can now use the information provided to view our application status online? *shaking my head. lol

I'm an April 2014 applicant and still can't even log in to ECAS using the file number and my information, the file number and my spouse's information, my UCI or the receipt number with either my spouse's or my information. ???

YAY! Glad you made it to-and-from the USA safely and congratulations on your new puppy! I have encountered really mean border agents who tried to make life difficult for me on my trips back from the USA in the past, so I'm too scared to take the trip during PR process. But apparently, having...

I sure hope not, but no matter when it is, we are still one week closer. I am feeling the stress just like anyone else here - I'm due to give birth in 3 weeks without health coverage, but I am trying to do what I can to stay positive and just hope things speed up soon.

Not unless you're on a work or student visa or have received Stage 1 approval and CSQ from Quebec. I was just officially rejected by Quebec provincial healthcare and I'm pregnant too!

Sometime the applicant receives AOR, sometimes the sponsor receives AOR. I still don't understand how we're supposed to find our sponsor's UCI if the sponsor was born and raised in Canada and it was the applicant who received AOR. I am the applicant and I received the AOR (spouse did not)...

Also, it is faster to do it online, and I don't think you should have any issues doing so while your Inland Sponsorship application is processing. :)

I don't think so, bored_waiting, unless you also submit an OWP along with it, but even that is being questioned. I think you need to apply to extend your visa at least 30 days before your current one expires.

The cost savings would not be significant enough for me to go through that entire hassle and risk with my application. Fortunately, the deposit I've already made for the doctor to deliver the baby includes the cost of a c-section and if I don't use pain medication I will be reimbursed. We've...

Indeed. And crossing back into Canada by LAND is quite difficult considering where I'd be traveling from. We should've waited to get pregnant, but it was a surprise and a blessing, so we'll do what we have to do.

My husband is a natural born Canadian. I know it's easier to bring the baby here with a Canadian parent, but that doesn't address the problem of leaving Canada during the process of an Inland application. I could qualify for medical insurance in the USA that would cover the delivery of my...

Smsm, I am from the USA, correct. Going back there to deliver the baby could possibly put my Inland application in jeopardy and also I want my baby to be born in Canada so that I don't have to go through the immigration process for her as well. I am going downtown to the RAMQ office to speak...

Thanks for the advice! I don't have money for the pregnancy or delivery itself, let alone "extra" for an epidural, but I know I'll have the option to add it to my bill (debt) if I need it. Just hoping I don't. alicia, thank you for coming back here to help us inland folks! And thanks for...
