Well based on the last time we entered, the passport control has changed (pearson airport). It is now computerized for citizens and pr's, so your husband could avoid going through the passport control person, you on the other hand have to go through the passport control. I would suggest go with your husband, after all you are a family and will complete one declaration form (not that you can't complete two forms). If asked about your intentions for PR, you can say that you might in the future depending on where your family decides to live (supposedly) or you can tell the truth (which I don't think will help). However I do not think that they will ask that, I mean they have no rights to make assumptions about your intentions for PR, at the same time my visitor visa was approved after we got married (i am on pgwp as well) and it didnt seem to be an issue for the IO, so I don't see why it will be an issue for the passport control person (who are not IO i believe) to let you re-enter. What I am trying to say is that there is no evidence of you applying or wanting to apply for PR and for the time being you are entering as a worker in canada. Also before getting married, we were always asked about our rltnship when re-entering canada, since we've been married never a question. I guess it shows in the system, so it doesnt make a difference if you go with or without your husband at the passport control.
And yes we are all paranoid about this whole immigration process, I was paranoid way before we got married when it came to re-entering Canada.
