I was shock CPC-M officer called me to tell me that they just started my application and they told me that to expect something within two months means 10 months waiting

Are you an August 2013 applicant? How come i didnt get any phone call although i'm a 8th July 2013 applicant? i'm guessing they didnt do it by date orders eh?

Sigh!

wow another 2 months eh... that is almost 11 months for first stage... so much for "faster" processing CPC-M

Well if they're calling the PR applicant and not the sponsor, it may mean they've started Stage 2 in that case and........Forget it I'm going to give up trying to understand or predict CIC

maybe simply because the PR applicant made the inquiry :P I understand your frustrations though

No, it sounds like this is the beginning of stage 2 for the OP, which is still in-line with the 8 months for stage 1...even though AIP hasn't been rec'd yet.

That's one possibility.

In our case, my wife (the applicant) received a phone call to verify email address just minutes before receiving AIP (i.e. stage 1). We're still awaiting DM (stage 2) nearly 17 months after filing a complete and paid application.

Don't give up hope. It's a lengthy (and stressful) process.

maybe the reason why they called me up because they agent emailed them regarding mu application, i didn't expect that they will call to, i was waiting for a hospital call usually when hospital call the number appearing in the cellphone is Unknown, when i answered it it was an officer fron CPC-M. So total months for me is 10 months the agent emailed then april 8 i received a respond in a week.

Try to call CIC and tell them to follow up or email the CPC maybe they will call you by then.

Okay guys I don't know if they are really giving calls to all the applicants, my situation is the last time i called the CIC the time frame was still in 8 months so i followed up my application which is already 8 months that day (april8) i told them my work permit expires and also mean my medicare and SIN and needed to be renewed and i told them i don't have any job for the past 9 months, since i resigned with my old job, so they told me that they will email the CPC-M because they told them that it's past due, then last april 12 I called them again to ask if they've responded to my email they told me not yet, until today whoch i received a call from the CPC-M officer maybe try to follow up the CIC and tell them to email the CPC-M may they will call you also.

I wish all of our files would still be with CPC-V, and I bet would be in august applicants already...
I'm seeing a lot of people with DM's received 2, 3 months after AIP. So the process is done there around 12 months.
Who got the files transferred to CPC-M, we are probably looking on 11 months for AIP, and who know's how long for DM.
For a expensive service we paid in advance, and for years the regular time for AIP was 6 months.
The delay is disrespectful, but even more not telling us why the files are not being processed at this time.

Hoping all go well to everyone and we can receive news soon!!! :)

It's already Wednesday the 16th and 4-day-long-weekend is coming up for government people (Friday and Monday off). They must be in festival mood already and I am guessing nothing will be processed this month... :-[ :-[
