It's so weird that he still did not receive any email... Is there any way you can find out whether they have correct email address in their system?ACS said:I mean I could understand if we were missing some papers, or they were requesting more info, but from what they say, we aren't missing anything, they aren't waiting for any info from us....and still..... :'( :'( :'(
I know, we prepared for the 6-8 mos processing time at the time we passed our application, and now we are buried in debt , surviving from one salary.Brazilian Canadian said:It's a desperation, isn't it? Every time I even think AIP may take even longer that already has, I go crazy on how we will continue to go deeper in debt, and how long we will slave to pay all debt later. As a person who has always been very organized financially, it's beyond frustration. I had prepared for the 6 months (the time-frame when we applied), we're now 15 months in. And still that's how we had to postpone so many things in our life, personally, healthily, financially, professionally, we can't wait to have life back to normal.
As i said before same with us with DM. Everything is in place and checked off. Someone just has to sign off on the file i guess. I suspect that the agents cannot do this and a manger has to. If there is less staff as seems to be the case and more files then it takes longer for a manger to get time to review and sign off on a file. If they told you April that means there is a note on the file saying that action has to be taken in March. There is no reason. We should all send the letters we got saying the transfer of files to Mississauga would speed up the process to the minister. I don't understand why some people Have to order their GCMS notes 1, 2, 3 or more times & at the end they show up the same over and over again!! Come on guys!! if you want to start to see real changes we must contact our MP as soon as possible and hope if at least one of them discuss this topic, they are the only ones who can make a big impact.civic said:People in legitimate relationship have nothing to worry because the day will come, just that there might be some roadblocks along the way based on the personal view of a certain officer. It's not the Yes or No question, it's the matter of how long. Hope ACS file will go fast after another review.
I think there is no better time than now to order GCMS to see what triggers the delay and ask MP Office to inquire to CIC immediately. That might change things overnight. I strongly encourage ACS to go see your MP and direct the question as to why OWP cannot be issued at this stage.
You can try and call your MP, I know that you already sent an email, but it can take weeks till they answer. Or your husband can visit them in person, that could speed the things up.ACS said:I mean I could understand if we were missing some papers, or they were requesting more info, but from what they say, we aren't missing anything, they aren't waiting for any info from us....and still..... :'( :'( :'(
I wish I could make it, but I have used all of my vacation days for the year. My husband is planning on going. I really hope there is a large turn out. I also think it would be great if this could be done weekly, just really annoy the creep.WeCanadoIt said:PROTEST TOMMORROW AT MIN. IMMIGRATION CHRIS ALEXANDER'S OFFICE IN AJAX

In my wife's email (and mine as well), it shows which officer processed our file. Does it say in yours?ACS said:Yes, they confirm both our email addresses everytime I call. It is correct.
What?? It gives their full name??JohnnyP said:In my wife's email (and mine as well), it shows which officer processed our file. Does it say in yours?
Is there any email or fax number indicated in the letter?
I think it would be really beneficial if you could directly contact the officer or the CIC-M office (not the useless CIC call agent) either by email or fax.
Sent them fax.ACS said:What?? It gives their full name??
At the end of my letter it just says:
Sincerely,
Officer CP
Case Processing Centre Mississauga
No, similar to yours (only initials) but it also shows email address and fax number...ACS said:What?? It gives their full name??
