Yes Mikey...and i hope you succeed also. As for the evidence...i could only send what we have...almost 2 years of daily talking for couple of hours each day...and of course when one meets a person from so far away there is doubts...i did lot of reading in the beginning of our relationship regarding genuine relationships and such stuff. but after couple of months i felt it was counter productive so just based on what i know of him now i trust him completely.....and i just hope the immigration people after reading our talks can also. and i introduced him on skype to my friends here, some coworkers and sons and they also felt that he was genuine...so i only hope our talking will be enough to show what we are about. i have messaged aquarian...i hope she will give me some pointers ...now i guess i submitted all the evidence i could so too late to add more paper. and i will go there again in august. i just hope it will all work out for everyone

add lots of prayers and patience soblue3 , this application is long road but no matter how long is this road there is always an end , always expect light in the end of the tunnel

:)

thanks drewday

is it a good idea to change my name here in canada, i have not done it yet because many people here dont and many take their time with that?

If you change your name, you will have to change it with immigration also.
If it is important to you, maybe change it now before it goes into processing.
But if it's not a huge deal to wait, you might want to wait to avoid delays (not that I have heard of any specifically for that, but CIC likes to keep everyone on their toes)

Being the sponsor, changing her name will not have an effect on her processing.

You shouldn't need to change your name now but what you should change is your CRA marital status. You can be entitled to some tax breaks just for being married, even he's not PR yet.

I can attest to that LOL.

Now with the name change, it is your choice completely, however you should keep in mind that in your husband's culture a wife never takes the husband's name as it is not allowed in Islam. On the other hand since you are not muslim, the choice is completely yours. Changing name will not make a difference in your processing.

oops!
My mistake!
I thought I was reading that any extra/new information delayed things.
Well that's good news.

I like good news.
Please ignore my post.

I'll try to keep my mouth shut when I am not 100% sure about something from now on.
I don't want to cause trouble for anyone here

Ah, yes. Being a human is what got me into this mess in the first place.
Do animals need visas?

(Thank you, to all of you! I can't wait until we're all in the arms we belong in with the paperwork to keep it all neat and tidy)
