Hey, may i know when did you apply for H&C?

my first was in Dec/2017 and in Dec/2019it was denied. I applied again in March/2020, got the AOR and Biometrics in July/2020 and it has been in process since Dec/2020

Dpn’t believe you have been approved yet so not sure how you are getting the 3 months. From in process to decision made for AIP it can be a few months to over a year.

And what about applying for refugee?

Do you have proof of persecution in your home country and that your life is at risk. Based on your previous posts you were under the impression that applying for H&C when arriving as a visitor was a way to secure economic migration if you were unable to secure PR or a WP from your home country. Would really encourage you to work with another lawyer if this lawyer recommended you to come to Canada as a visitor and apply for H&C.

hi sarah , in general decision made its refusal, don't worry and be strong ! everyone know that H&C application are not guaranteed and we should try to present all humanitarian circumstances in our cases to have more chances.
will be honest with you, your first request was not presented in a good way as you mentioned to us before.( i have an idea because i saw your old comments before )
I advise you to change the attorney, because he did not give you good ideas but only encouraged you to apply to get the money.
Now change attorney, you should try to maintain a legal situation/status in the country to avoid problems, I am not an expert but maybee in your case you can submit a TRP or PRRA with your second H&C application.
PRRA it will be just a solution to have a legal status for certain time and also you Will be able to have a work permit so you can add this in your H&c application to have more chances.
Asylum will complicate matters more i think.
Another tip, don't listen to some people here, especially some VIP MEMEBERS, because firstly their goal is to frustrate others and secondly they are not experts in the field of immigration.
Always be positive,be sure that you will find a solution to get pour PR ❤ if you work to achieve your goals.

You can’t just start the PPRA process out of the blue.. In OP’s situation it would not lead to a WP. OP arrived as a visitor and never had a WP so does not qualify for WP like others who have previously worked, studied, applied for asylum, etc. The H&C process is not meant for those arriving on a TRV who have not qualified for economic immigration or a WP from their home country. Whoever gave this couple the incorrect advice that they should arrive on a TRV and apply for H&C gave them bad advice.

I know lots of ppl that applied for refugee after me and got their pr about 1 year.

Getting a hearing as an asylum claimant can tame from 6 months to 2+ years and6 months is pretty rare even for expedited cases. If you do get approved as a protected person you have to wait for your notice of decision in the mail which can take a few weeks to many months and then you can apply for PR which is taking around 1.5 years. It is still quite a lengthy process so not most would not already be PRs if they applied for asylum in July 2019.

You can try other midwifery practices but there Is huge demand for each spot and many with OHIP are also rejected. You can also call around to OB practices to see how much their services will cost. Each doctor sets their own prices so there will be some variability.

You may get faster processing because you have already attempted H&C already so your application has been reviewed already and you are only adding additional arguments.

I didnt say we got approved, 3 months passed from being in process to decision made not my whole process
