I get that part. That is incremental work. Will add something of some value to those people's life, but not a lot. I guess it depends on how thoughtful someone is in building their skills throughout their life.

Sometimes you don't need a fulltime job but enough to keep wheel turning.

My father used to teach me maths from 1st to 10th std. He did it well. Later, he used to teach few other kids of our friend circle. He used same notes that he wrote while teaching me. Never charged a buck to them. But I know if he had to quit his main job, he would be able to easily bring it to the point that he could replace his income fully. He was pretty well known in the society for teaching maths. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending upon whom you ask), his job was in government sector. There was no chance in the hell that he would lose it.

Easily.

BTW, in the places where you will likely live (Toronto or Vancouver), early six figure can be bare survival income for a family with kids and/or pets. Its not a good benchmark. Rental situation in both cities is horrible.

May I suggest to hunt a job before coming here?

Either I'll have to buy a home, or make a few visits there attempting to rent a home before landing with my dogs.

I just had a very good/relaxing weekend. Stayed away from most social media but spent it mostly looking at cars.
And yesterday before bed time, watched Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Recommend everyone who has not seen it to find some time and watch it. Certainly helps calm things down briefly.

Go for single family homes. No Bylaws no nothing to bother with. There is no HoA in BC atleast. There are bylaws at municipal level but unless you have something exotic you will be fine. Get one preferably with huge backyards. Those are excellent for pet - exercise.

Yes, I'm looking for single family homes. Haven't been looking at BC. I have lived at BC for a while, I understand the weather and other things, I was thinking about living in Alberta to see whether I'd like living there. Good to know that BC has no HoA problem. Thanks for sharing that.
