Most people are waste of life, do nothing, bottom feeders. They are mere benefactors of the work that other humans do. Their existence is a burden on planet and humanity. Safe to say, we know who's a waste of life and who isn't.

Agreed. Still, it doesn't justify literally throwing money away and wasting one's time and energy on an animal... I would rather donate that money so an actual human being can benefit.

I just had a very good/relaxing weekend. Stayed away from most social media but spent it mostly looking at cars.
And yesterday before bed time, watched Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Recommend everyone who has not seen it to find some time and watch it. Certainly helps calm things down briefly.

I have received an invitation to apply under 'Federal Skilled Worker' program. My current valid Passport is due to expire in June 2023. I intend to get it renewed once I submit my application and update the passport information once I receive the renewed passport. This in accordance to the information published by IRCC at: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/passport-travel-document.html, under the section “How long your passport needs to be valid” and subsection “Immigrating through Express Entry”.

I have two questions:
1) Is there any problem with applying using a passport bound to expire within 3 months of applying?
2) Can I submit an application to renew my passport before submitting my application for express entry? Or would submitting passport renewal application prior to submitting express entry application render my current passport invalid?

Expiring passports

You must have a valid passport to come to Canada.


If your passport expires within 6 months from the day you apply, you should renew it. Then, when you get your new passport, update your passport information in your application. This will ensure it’s valid when we process your application, and avoid additional delays.

Today i saw on the tracking site for EE that the eligibility part is marked in green as COMPLETED.

can someone can tell me what does it mean ? Did they verify all my documents ? Is it sure that I passed this step ? What does elligibility mean ?

Is the next draw gonna be PNP only or would it be all program draw incl FSW?

No one here can tell. I was going through the interview of a previous immigration minister, apparently, any change in draw type is a huge stress on the system as it has to stay compliant.

We usually underestimate the complexity, but I can only imagine what the program manager must go through with EE now. EE is now hugely politically influenced too, which is about "what can look good". So, anyone making resource adjustments (in terms of capital, IT, pre-arrival services, etc) is reactively working on it. For example, the current situation with Iran nationals in Canada resulted into a policy shift. But we know very little in terms of how much other services were scaled up or down to meet that policy change.

EE is going to be a roller coaster for almost all non-LMIA/non-talented folks now that's for sure.
