How realistic is it that I can get express entry in less than a year?

Well, given that you aren't even talking about CRS at this point of time, maybe unrealistic to talk about your chances as long as you know what CRS you'll even be targeting?

That has nothing to do with this thread. Stop spamming.

IRCC Portal: Eligibility Complete, BGC in Progress.

There's no fixed timeline for these things. Anyone who tells you otherwise is immature and hasn't learned math yet. BGC completion is a spectrum: 1. (left most side of the spectrum) Officer takes no breaks between stages and you are not in comprehensive security screening - 1-2 months in total...

    September 2025 AOR

Yes. But, Canada Post is the one to worry about. The miss A LOT of deliveries and hence they delay in PR cards. Nothing that's an issue on IRCC's part. All your luck at the end of the day!

    >point is I have all the things completed except background check which suggest I am in comprehensive check (No Military Background, No Government Background) Get CBSA notes, that's the only way to know this. A lot of times, they work on a part of your BG check and they pause in between...

6 month SLA is for 80% applications. You are likely marked non-routine. The AOR cohorting by month could be a bit misleading too as on a case-by-case basis, some applications are far more complex than the others.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

I haven't watched it yet - what's it saying? I usually don't involve myself in politics so I thought I'd rather ask about the key takeaways? My Youtube is all "nice stuff" and I don't want to go through an incognito window to watch this :D

You'll get a RFV/PPR/Portal before CoPR. FD isn't something that everyone gets. Also, that's a very common workflow in IRCC where "All completed" in tracker is just "final review required" note added to your file and another officer needs to either review your application or send you the...

I'd be very cautious of anyone joining Whatsapp groups as they expose your private info to a lot of potential scammers that are out there in those groups. We've had people in this forum who sign-up on day 1, spam their Whatsapp groups and then steal people's data. I'd rather recommend that you...

POF request for April 2023 Express Entry Application

You'll have to meet PoF requirements for 3 people. You can have your parents gift you a sum of money and that can potentially help you here. Canada is an expensive place to migrate to and I'd highly recommend that you've this PoF covered when you land here as that's in the best interest of your...

    OCTOBER 2025 AOR

Nothing unusual there tbh. IRCC can pause between stages, your application could be flagged for comprehensive security screening (less common), etc - it has no meaning. IRCC never disclosed how the queue of landing new PR works, so there's no real insight here. The only thing to watch for is if...

Some American and British applicants seem to have a sense of entitlement to exceptional treatment when it comes to applying to immigrate to Canada

    >So many foreigners here. It's disgusting That was as sad thing to encounter. But, I'd emphasize that you don't resort to the same bigotry/discrimination that you yourself faced. Just not going to help you at all. >I bet a white person would be much less likely (if at all) to experience such...

Some American and British applicants seem to have a sense of entitlement to exceptional treatment when it comes to applying to immigrate to Canada

If anyone from any other nationality said the same thing, we would criticize them the same way. My nationality gets kicked left-and-right and I see it happen everyday. OP could've skipped the mention of nationality, but that's the only thing wrong with it. When I saw that the doctor failed to do...

FD is not even a stage. A lot of people don't even get FDs - PPR/RFV/Portal are universal, everything else is assumed. In my case, FD in GCKey happened after my passports were stamped.

    July 2025 AOR

if you are referring to the date on top of the PR tracker, yes, nothing to do with your application. I'd ignore most GUs or updates like those as well om GC key. Between your P2 and eCoPR there isn't much that happens unless something puts your application review back in motion(very very rare)...

CEC remote work experience point calculation

By right employment letter I meant, with the full updated 2/3 year exp that you are claiming. You can add a LoE for explaining your work experience exclusion, no worries there as long as you meet the criteria.

CEC remote work experience point calculation

    >if I wait 5–6 weeks within the 60-day submission window, I will have completed the full 2 years by the time I submit my application and supporting documents. This will work. IRCC assumes that you'll be able to complete the work exp required to claim the points. Wait for it to happen and then...

    Landing rules- Express Entry

The issue would rather be about proving their settlement outside Quebec. If they can show Airbnb bookings, rental agreement signed, job lined up outside Quebec, etc -> not a lot for them to worry about. But, if their overall proof of settling outside of Quebec is a bit weak, that's a different...
