PR Possibility – CLB 9 English, CLB 5 French, 1 Year Canadian Exp

CLB5 to CLB7 is actually the difficult jump to make. Focus on your weakness that you saw coming through in TEF/TCF/whatever you gave and you can get through in a couple of months with CLB7.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

The balance here is that, for every approved applications there are many rejected ones. Your intention to stay temporarily vs permanently is actually a factor here that has been featured in many refusal letters (200(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR)). To view this...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Once you apply for H&C, getting approved for a temporary visa becomes difficult as you've stated your intent to say permanently. This directly contradicts the idea that you'll stay temporarily and as expected would leave. So, H&C for WP or for parents on supervisa (different story) usually is a...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

H&C would be harder and more nerve-wrecking tbh as we can see over these threads. The wait times are longer and the result is very unpredictable. Once you apply for H&C, you'll also risk the ability to get a work permit extended in Canada too. So, ideally you would want to max out your options...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

If you learn french, you have far higher chances of getting a PR as the breakdown shows. You/your spouse can also earn a degree to increase your scores dramatically. You two have made some choices in the past that might make you feel you can't compete via EE, but if you open up more steps...

    ADR to PPR timelines

ADR alone makes no sense in the EE application scenario. What about background check, eligibility, etc? Are they marked completed in the PR tracker? The expectation of "4 weeks" being too long is not the right one. We are missing a lot of context here from you. What does your GCMS/CBSA notes say?

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

How is it so low? If you have Canadian work exp, foriegn work exp, etc IELTS (for both of you) - 275 is quite low. I'll check how someone can have so low CRS at your age. But, I was 30+ when I migrated to Canada through EE when CRS was easily 500+ as an outland applicant. I think there's a lot...

    May 2025 AOR

My AOR was years ago, VO was CPC-Ottawa (been called slow and fast both in this forum).

    May 2025 AOR

It doesn't matter much tbh. I was FSW-O, no category and my application was processed in less than 25 days from AOR.

Country of Residence of Parents in the eAPR

They are visitors here, not residents. So, it should be India.

Ah! That was in your signature too! Best of luck, a french draw will definitely get you an ITA.

PR tracker not updating for more than a month

Different databases between PR tracker, GCKey and the internal systems that IRCC uses. The updates are very likely batched to each db and the date for each to update would likely be different too.

    Invite received but have doubts

I'm not sure what issue you are facing, but if it is just verifying docs, find a lawyer registered and licensed in Canada and read their reviews. Plenty of good lawyers that create even content these days. I can't recommend anyone, but I think the owners of this forum (law firm) also offers...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Many here don't understand just how little protection they have in terms of privacy. CSIS and CBSA both process this data when someone's is enrolled in the immigration progress - they don't have to knock doors when they've built-in integrations. What that individual did was extremely concerning...

    H&c application journey

You think you can work illegally, but someone can't write a respectful comment on an open forum (legally)? He isn't wrong at all from what I'm reading, right?

Was he a RCIC (consultant) as opposed to a registered Canadian immigration lawyer? I bet he was the former as no lawyer in their right mind would say that.

    Invite received but have doubts

Your eligibility is evaluated based on MEC(Google it), if you complete your two years before submitting a PR application against this ITA - you meet MEC. >and previous refusal is making me anxious. You've repeatedly written this and all I'll say is to search the forum a bit. SO MANY cases like...

    Invite received but have doubts

They grace award you with 2 years of exp points because you'll meet them before the deadline of the ITA anyways. So, wait till you complete 2 years and then submit your PR application docs against this ITA. This is not going to be an issue for you. All they care about is whether you meet the...
