Dear Sir,

Please be advised that your application for permanent residence in Canada will be processed at our office in Cairo. You will be contacted once a decision is reached or if additional documents are judged to be necessary.

I trust the above is to your satisfaction.

Dear Sir\Madam,

As per the latest GCMS I received two days ago, it seems my file has been transferred to CPC-Ottawa, kindly confirm that so I know to which office I send my application updates, to Cairo Visa Office or CPC-Ottawa?

Please advise.

Regards,

but nothing was mentioned related to the second line update as usual :) :) :)
يا رب كملها على خير دة احنا غلابة

actually, when I sent my email it was couple of days BEFORE the SLU outbreak ... so there was nothing in email that asks about SLU.

how long time it take from sending the file to fedral (after got the CSQ) till visa ?

any one know approximately months ??

It depends on the visa office that will process you application
Ottawa (11 months) - Cairo (25 months) since they receive your complete package.

check this:

but do you know any real months for any different cases ? not what they said on the website ( i think it's virtual )

also what is writen in my CSQ Certificate is BVC DE LE CAIRE

I don't know any Quebec cases, check elmatareed, they have a Quebec section.
Although it is written LE CAIRE, your federal file may be transferred ot any office based on CIC view on work loads. Recent cases from Egypt were sent to CPC_Ottawa.

What does she/he mean by "I trust the above is to your satisfaction." :) Anyways, it is great news that they responded in such a short period of time :) This is even better than the response time of CPC Ottawa في أوج مجدها :)

till we find a way with Embaba VO, i have a question.
Do anyone here intent to take his parents / one of his parents with him to live in Canada?
If yes, do you know the procedures and mysteries of the supervisa? and what is the fastest type of visa to have my mother with me in Canada? (her brother is Canadian)

I will tell you what I know.

- Canadian visitor visa is one of the "hardest" to get ...
- The key element for approving a visa is to SHOW you have enough income to support your visitor .. means you have been employed in a company for at least 6 months and have proper income.
- For the supervisa, it was on hold for sometime, but now it is open, so I would ask more than one lawyer to get the right information, as if you apply for a visa and got rejected, next time it is harder to get, so better to get it right from the first time.

I am not aware of the details, but I hear you :) I want to bring my parents eventually to Canada (insha'Allah if everything goes well) but I don't think they would like to :) Being away from family is probably one of the hardest things when it comes to immigration :) I mean emotionally :)

Good Morning guys
i found another ECAS update (line 3)
We transferred your application to the Cairo office on August 28, 2014. The Cairo office may contact you.

so seems they changed something in the process or the ECAS update process
also while checking the ECAS there is a label mentioning that its updated on Tuesday's
so seems we will see updates every Tuesday :) hopefully..

Got an email stating the same also

But how strange !!

The second line saying in process
And the third line that they sent it

What is interesting to me is that the date in the second line is after the date in the third line!!!
2. Started: August 26
3. transfered: August 14
