OK this is weird.... I checked now and I found a third line on ecas:

We transferred your application to the Cairo office on August 13, 2014. The Cairo office may contact you.

This was not there on Wednesday nor yesterday.. And of course this transfer date is the same as PER date...

Is this just an old back log of updates they are processing? Why now though?

Same as you..I got my 3rd line today

Guys,

I just checked now again and I found the third line, it wasn't there till yesterday. This really strange BTW it is the same date I got my PER

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 5, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on June 24, 2014.
3. We transferred your application to the Cairo office on June 13, 2014. The Cairo office may contact you.

A Friday! Interesting, having an update showing on a Friday, either means that someone is working weekends (since that should be Cairo office, following Egypt holidays) or they are actually working on Canadian schedule... or even better they are working weekends to get done with us...

The only fact we are sure of (almost) that updates didn't roll out in the same time which makes it less likely to be a software update. That is, there is someone physically pressing the button. On the other hand there is the quick reply AbdelAllah has received which is also a good sign...

The only thing, since the recent changes time is starting to pass really slowly again, checking emails and looking for updates much more often, the same way we did a little bit over a year ago

How is it for you guys?
