There is a typo in my wife's birth certificate. Her mother's name is spelled with an 'i' instead of 'ee'. Is this a potential cause for rejection? Should i mention this in my cover letter?

Any irregularity should be explained in an annexure. Misspellings seem common in documents from certain countries, as per the posters on this forum.

Hi All,

I have 2 problems filling up the economic classes form:-

1) It is not allowing me to enter and then save 0 value in Liabilities field. Value 0 gets vanished when trying to save.
2) It is not allowing me to enter the MM values in Question 12 section b. Tab and curser doesn't go there.

Should I go ahead and write with pen for these columns?

1. write with black pen after printing

2. u can use single digit and leave second block blank...ppl from 2013 did same and thy got charged successfully...

hi again, got a question here.

in schedule 3 under work experience question 12a

should i write under occupation box the title of the NOC code where i want to be assessed ? or the title of the position that i have written in 12b?

for example Occupation= Licensed practical nurse NOC= 3233

or

Occupation= operating room Nurse NOC= 3233

i'm confused because what was said in the guide 7000 is like this

a) Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements. Choose one occupation from the list you provide in your answer to 12b).

thanks

Hello Friends,

On Form IMM 5669 - Sch A Background Declaration, Q 5 with respect to Personal details of Mother.

Form asks to provide " Family name at birth " of mother.

What shall I put current family name ?

Experts advice please.

The question is written in plain English. Is your mother's family name now the same as it was on the day she was born? If not I suggest answering the question accurately by entering her family name as it was on the day she was born.

under the travel form

i'm single so i don't have any dependents

so should i just fill the boxes with "not applicable"

and should i still tick the box for DID NOT TRAVEL or just leave it blank?

thanks

Hi all,

When i was filling the Economic classes form , it has a column for the assets , what should be filled in , and is it mandatory for federal scheme? if yes what documentation has to be provided for asset's. Thanks in advance.

cheers

Include all assets and liabilities. For settlement funds, only liquid or easily liquifiable and unencumbered assets should be listed.

Sufficient documentation would be statements, screen shots of online account access, passbook copies, etc. The local VO may ask for further or updated information later.

I wanna know I have 3 and half years experience than have study for 8 months then have experience of 7 months ... now how many marks I will get for it ??? for FSW

So long as your experience is within skill type 0 or skill level A or B, you will get credit for 4 years of experience. (I am assuming the 3.5 years is really 3 years and 6 months. If the total of your experience is short of 4 years at all, it will be 3 years.)

@tulip9

1. I entered the value 0.01 :)

2. The format is YYYY-MM in same block for YYYY, leave the MM block empty

Hi,

in case, If I choose NOC 2171 in the Schedule B (Question # 12a) and

1) mention same NOC 2171 for below 4 listed jobs in (Question # 12b)
OR
2) mention mix NOCs 2171 / 2173 in (Question. 12b)

What will be the FSW application outcome in above 2 scenarios if Visa Officer thinks that 2171 doesn't match with my reference letter? In scenario #2, will VO be able to select 2173 himself or application will be refused?

Hi, i have one question regarding to Statutory Declaration.

As my employer is not willing to provide letter with my job duties and responsibilities, i am planning to do Statutory Declaration from the colleague where i am working.

My question is that:

Do i need to mention the Salary? According to the company's policy, we can't disclose the salary with company staff. And if i mention the salary we may have some issue in future, so i am not planning to mention that part in SD.
So, would that be fine or is that compulsion to mention the salary?

Also, do i need to send salary slips from past employer as well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your employer is not willing to provide a letter with job duties, or any letter at all? If they are willing to provide a letter with at least some details, get what you can. Then get a supervisor or colleague to provide a letter with the job duties. But be sure this person has a basis for knowing what your job duties are (i.e. they worked with you in a capacity that they would know your job duties). Be sure the letter writer explains his basis for knowing your job duties, especially if that person was not a supervisor.

If neither an employer letter nor a supervisor letter can mention salary, provide whatever other supporting documentation you can. I'd mention in an annexure why you couldn't include it in a letter.

Good luck.

which forms spaces are not enough ?

use extra pages...

@ambrosio

Use generally acceptable and know short forms such as Engineering = ENGG, Computer Sciences = COmp. Sc. etc

If space is still not enough write "Refer to Annex # XYZ" and attached seperate sheet (fulfill all the requirements of seperate sheet such as name, question # etc etc)

but don't use not so common abeviations or shorten the word on your own.

@ atharabbas

You have to mention ALL your jobs within last 10 yrs.

So in 12.b you may end up with mix of NOC depending on your work experience (i ended up having 3 NOC in 12.b).

BUT 12.a SHOULD HAVE ONLY 1 PRIMARY NOC UNDER WHICH YOU ARE APPLYING.

Yes that's clear to me.

My question is in case I enter 2171 as main NOC in (12a) but VO thinks it's not correct. Will he take 2173 (from 12b) as alternative NOC for points calculation or it will be straight forward refusal?
