Hi experts/friends

I received my PER email on Nov 11, 2014 (July 16 applicant). When i checked my application status on CIC website, it shows as "in process". When i further click the link, it shows that "We received your application for permanent residence on July 16, 2014". When i checked the "in process" status table on CIC website, it comes after "visa office eligibilty review complete" tab.

Does this mean the my relevant VO process is over and now i should expect for medicals or VO will still do some background checks and may require some clarfication / documents or may call for interview even?

Ndvo was waiting for my bday to start with PPR :-* and from today onwards they will do it with full throttle

And who all will greet me bday wishes will get speedy visa and that person donating -1s will suffer always

I just enquired from my bank today, and was told that DD has not been encashed yet. 23rd July applicant. NOC 2133. Are there any 23rd July applicants whose DD has got charged?

My application rcvd on 23rd jul, and i got my PER yday. NOV 06th is dd encashment date.

My courier reached on 14th November to CIO..

My question are:

Will they send me mail that they received my courier ?
Or

Will I know to know after 90-120days ?
How would I know that my document are in correct person hand ?.. I'm bit nervous now as I checked with ma agent nd he says he didn't get any mail so far..

1. If applying under Tatkal, then definitely one gets a Police Verification, and Tatkal applications are accepted with a letter/signature of a gadgeted officer/legal authority.
2. Normal application depends on case to case, might be police verification or might be not. (one of the factor could be is a passport if issued within 3 months, no verification comes within this time gap - dont know about other states - this is for ahmedabad)

2. Its not mandatory to renew now, it can be also done before PPR (immediately after Medicals/RPRF done)

By the way, do you know how much time we will get for passport submission after the PPR mail ?

By the way, I was checking PSK website...and as per them, for Passport Renewal under Tatkal Scheme:
1. If Police Verification is required, processing time is 3 Days. Police Verification is done after the passport is issued.
2, If Police Verification is "NOT" required, processing time is 1 Day.

So though I am thankful for your reply, but I think your first point is factually wrong.

your application has transfered from CIC to VO, wish you get MR soon.

Told you earlier also that CIC will not confirm the receipt of courier.. only the POD by courier should be enough for your satisfaction..!!

Renewal of passport is not a major incident that require background checking or cause security threat. So, you don't need to inform VO on this. While submitting your passport, at that time just add a note that your passport has been renewed.

Hi,

My friend had applied under 2173 Software engineers and designers but her file got rejected stating something like job duties mentioned does not match NOC. She filed it through a consultant who did not do a great job.

What are her chances of being in the cap if she sends a new application (Lets say in 10 days time) for NOC- 2172 Database analysts and data administrators?
