If u plan landing by mid of 2015, send these things ASAP and u will have a good chance to get visa stamped before 31st Dec, 2014....... otherwise NDVO may take long as most of the guys in NDVO are working overtime and on weekends to meet the 2014 target. They will all be taking log vacation in January.

If i were you, i will send these docs now as they have not requested for passport bio page and mention in my cover letter that i am going to renew my passport with 1st week of Dec being expected date of receipt. This way, i will still have a chance to be finalized by Dec 2014. A PCC issued on previous passport (ur current passport) is as much valid as the one u can get after new passport (if thats ur concern).

Remember, till Dec 2014 NDVO will be willing to go extra mile on these trivial things to ensure finalization of maximum apps to meet their target.

One Question: How much time NDVO gives us to submit Passport after sending PPR, is it 45 days like MR or less ?

Actually, I am in a dilemma. I got MR/RPRF/PCC request on 30th Oct. I am ready with all 3 (MR/RPRF/PCC) now. But, I have time till 14th Dec (i.e., 45days after MR). The reason because of which I am thinking of waiting till the end, is that my Passport is going to expire on 21st, July 2015. Though, I am applying for Passport Renewal under Tatkaal scheme and my Present address is my Permanent Address as mentioned in old passport (i.e., police verification may be waived), still I am not sure how long Passport Office is going to take.

Guys, please help me in deciding, whether, I shud submit MR/RPRF/PCC asap and donot worry abt passport renewal, as I will sufficient time before & after PPR.....OR, I shud apply for Passport Renewal & hold MR/RPRF/PCC till the end (like, 40th Day after MR).

PLEASE SUGGEST !!!

My friend, what website reads is the actual timeline, but if you are aware how this Police department works, will get an idea how the real timeline falls apart than the pasted on to their website. BTW which state u belong ?

By the way, I was checking PSK website...and as per them, for Passport Renewal under Tatkal Scheme:
1. If Police Verification is required, processing time is 3 Days. Police Verification is done after the passport is issued.
2, If Police Verification is "NOT" required, processing time is 1 Day.

So though I am thankful for your reply, but I think your first point is factually wrong.

Told you earlier also that CIC will not confirm the receipt of courier.. only the POD by courier should be enough for your satisfaction..!!

Hi,

My friend had applied under 2173 Software engineers and designers but her file got rejected stating something like job duties mentioned does not match NOC. She filed it through a consultant who did not do a great job.

What are her chances of being in the cap if she sends a new application (Lets say in 10 days time) for NOC- 2172 Database analysts and data administrators?

If all duties match with those of 2172, then its good to apply under that NOC and ask her to send her application asap(within a week).

But thats the my query that "in process" status tab is shown after the VO process on CIC website but next click on "in process" tab rather gives old status that file has been received for PR. Thats confusing me

POD is the airway bill receipt number bro, you can get it form the courior company
