Hi All,
Need some suggestions on choosing primary applicant between me and my husband; considering we will be able to only apply by Sep early/mid
Also please help me in finding my husband's NOC...
I fall in 2174...
My husband actually falls under the earlier 2147 code..but now not sure to choose b/w 2173 or 2218 (But 2218 falls under skill type B and not A) Skill type B requires only a technical training/ college 3yrs degree whereas he has done his engineering with masters as well)
His title is network test engineer, he designs test plans, and tests on the router features like security/firewall/web filtering etc
Please advice....

My cousin was a Lecturer in a Ayurvedic Collage affiliated to punjab university for good 6 years . 3 years back she moved out from the collage and started practicing in a 50 bedded Ayurvedic hospital (NABH accredited ) in delhi. Since last 1 and a half year she is working in the same hospital as Chief of Hospital Staff (100 odd staff) and is involved in Hospital Administration activities.

She does not have a formal managerial degree (in Hospital Management)

She is a BAMS (bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery + MD in Ayurvedic Medicine ) from Bhartiya Vidyapeeth (deemed University ) based in Pune , India

My question is :

1 ) Can she apply under FSWP 2014 under NOC 0311 ( managers in Health Care ) or NOC 4011 ( Lecturer ), or going forward Since EOI format is getting introduced will it be wise for her to start preparing her file

2 ) From which organisation can she get her EDUCATIONAL documents accessed , ( I have checked with WES they are saying they cannot do for BAMS. However ICAS says they can get her BAMS report but not possible to issue her MD ECA report.)

3 ) for eligibility under any NOC , Is it necessary to have relevant education . Or any education is fine as long as we have relevant work experience of more than 1 year.

4) points claimed under Work exp can be for any / all work exp, which may not be of the NOC applied for . ( ie Incase 1 year of exp for NOC Category applied for but over all of 8 years exp. in some other profession . Point for exp shall be 9 or 15?

So let me sum it all up like this ... All that matters in the end is if the experience matches the NOC. In your case it sounds like it will as she has valid work experience as a hospital administrator.

As far as points, my understanding per the forum is that all experience counts towards the points so it would be 15.

• Demonstrates professional knowledge of Dot Net framework 3.5, C#3, ASP.NET, AJAX, jQuery , Java Script and XML.

• Building reports using Crystal report and Crystal report server.

• Understands the benefits of various programming languages and Creates XML Schemas.

• Creates efficient and logical databases using SQL server 2008.

• Perform analysis, requirements gathering and gab analysis and convert it to analysis and design documentation

supported with UML diagrams.

• Designs and codes superior technical solutions and applying design patterns.

• Recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions

• Consistently delivers high-quality modules.

• Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented.

• Leading School Management system team assign tasks to each member and follow up tasks with them

• Generates enthusiasm among team members.

• Proactively seeks opportunities to serve in leadership roles.

Hi, engmSalem, since you already know what you do, get your employer reference which should match any your desired NOC. We really can't tell you what to do, you should make your own choices. But we will be here to answer specific questions not broad queries, so go ahead and get started on your application. No one really knows how many total applications are received .. 2174 is a really hot NOC but then 1000 is a pretty large number too ... It is always worth a try !!

Most probably yes.. because 129 is till 6th may only.. last year the cap for 2174 filled in 1 month for 300.. and so many applicants were waiting for this year.. so by july it should be very close to 1000 or may be over...but if you are planning to apply then send it asap.. dont bother abt cap..

Can i take a chance by submitting Sikh Temple certificate followed by a affidavit and also my husband name is embossed on certificate.

If you are really serious for the immigration than don't take the chance. You need a Marriage certificate from the court and this is not a big deal.

Network Engineer is 2281. http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2281 It doesn't really matter what the education is, the experience and responsibilities fall under this NOC.

Why does it matter whether it is Skill Type A or B ?

Your husband's master's degree will count for either NOC as long as he has gotten his ECA. So both of you can apply separately to increase your chances or pick one of you to apply as long as you cross the minimum of 67 points. He will need an employer's reference so if his employer can give him a reference that will match the duties displayed for either NOC on the list, he is good to go

Which documents need to be notarized? do we need to notarize all the documents for which we are giving photocopies or just in case we are translating a document like birth certificate?

In my opinion you could easily go for either 2173 or 2174 but not 2171 ... Choose whichever has the least applications ... (2173 is more your role, 2174 not as close but still a very good match)

The Tehsildar, and in his absence the Naib Tehsildar of the concerned Tehsil, acts as the Registrar for registration under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

Eligibility Conditions

A party to a Hindu Marriage which has been solemnised, or the guardian of such a party, may apply for registration of the marriage to the Registrar of the local area in which the applicant resides.

Step by Step Procedure

When an application for the registration of a Hindu Marriage is presented before the Registrar by a party, the Registrar shall, except when both the parties to the marriage and their guardians appear before him personally and are identified to his satisfaction, give notice to the other party by registered post and make such enquiries of a summary character as he thinks fit regarding the marriage.
On being satisfied about the fact of the marriage, the Registrar shall register the marriage and enter the particulars thereof, as given in the application for registration, in the Hindu Marriage register.

i. The age of the female should not be less than 18 years and that of the male should not be less than 21 years.

ii. A male can apply for registration of marriage to the registrar of the area in which he resides. Similarly a female can also apply for registration of marriage to the registrar of the area in which she resides, i.e., a marriage can be registered either at the bride's place or at the bridegroom's place.

Yess... all the photocopies needs to notarized like marriage, birth certificates.. but not sure whether translated documents require notary signature.... seniors to advice
