Don't do anything, sit back, relax and enjoy your transition period. Once your file is transferred to your local VO, inform them about the recent changes.shank386 said:Dear Friends,

harka007 said:no worries...when your file gets transferred to local VO then you can update it. local vo asks for updated documents when they get your file and that is the time to update

It wont take more than 2 weeks time but for US PCC clearance I guess it would take 4 to 6 weeks. I have not received my PER yet but is it right time to send application to FBI to get PCC. I may get PCC around August End and hopefully can get AOR also at the same time..May be Aug End or Early Sept..
Please advise..
Also, for NDVO, after AOR when can they ask for PCC, MR.. I guess they ask Passport along with Medicals..

Paying through Credit Card
RBI has set a threshold limit for international transactions at INR 75,000/-. If you are paying CAD 1250 and more, kindly get your threshold limit increased or abolished. At today's exchange rate CAD 1250 is equal to INR 70,000/-. In addition to this bank will charge 3.5% transaction charges.
Tomorrow, if forex rates change then, you could be in trouble and fell short of money. Kindly talk to your bank's customer care and let them know that you will be charged by Citizenship and Immigration Canada in Sydney, Nova Scotia and they should honour the payment.

Someone in forum used HDFC cc and his card was charged successfully without any issues. Bank just called him to verify if transaction is legit from some mumbai number (022XXXX). However,You can call and check from bank the international limit on your CC as it varies from local limit.
