Yes I got a reply from ndvo that I will get new passport request from new York vo. And I got that today

Got second PPR from NY VO (got first one from NDVO and had requested them for permission to submit passports in US). They have given only 15 days. But NY office is excellent. They replied to my query in just 2 days time. Thanks Goku for the information you had shared.

am in same situation. the country being USA. awaiting NDVOs reply. if I don't get it by 15th feb I will send my family back to india for stamping and will send my passport along for stamping with an authorization letter.

One thing is for sure, I will share whatever NDVO replies to my Mail so that others in my situation can benefit. Hope they reply soon enough and I don't have to spend extra for flight tickets to travel back to india

Already raised CSE with urgent as the top most line.. raised it on 28th Jan. No reply yet. Its gona be 30 days on 28th Feb and that is the deadline that NDVO has given for passport submission to Delhi. No idea when they will respond. One query is pending since 7th Jan. NDVO is really loaded...

and in my case they did not reply nor did they mention in PPR that I can submit to CPC-Ottawa...

It says we can't post indian passport out of country by mail. And says it should be in possession with either the holder of passport or an authorized individual. Not sure what it says about carrying passport by authorized individual out of country. I guess I will show patience as usual and wait...

I have similar issue. I informed NDVO about my movement to US. they sent the PPR with my updated address but asked to submit passports to New Delhi High Commission. Whats the use of updating address with them.. really I have no idea.

yes I did ask them to change VO but they did not and sent ppr from ndvo itself
