I would like to confirm if anyone here sent his file this year to London Visa Office and included apartment contract as a proof of fund, then he charged for application fees, means I want to verify that acceptance of this kind of proof of fund particular by LVO still applicable this year.

Hi all, As far as I read posts here, I understand that CIC has only opened applications received till May 8th 2014, and the number of complete applications in that is mentioned in the www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp (for NOC 2174 its is 129). So, the projection for 2174 NOC would be if 129 applications are complete as of May 8th, the cap of 1000 may be filled if they open applications received till probably July. Is my understanding correct?

How is apartment contract a proof of fund ?? Proof of fund is liquid assets that you can use for settlement.

You need to submit your bank statement with the the required funds or something similar that can be easily moved with you.

Hey guys


My cousin was a Lecturer in a Ayurvedic Collage affiliated to punjab university for good 6 years . 3 years back she moved out from the collage and started practicing in a 50 bedded Ayurvedic hospital (NABH accredited ) in delhi. Since last 1 and a half year she is working in the same hospital as Chief of Hospital Staff (100 odd staff) and is involved in Hospital Administration activities.

She does not have a formal managerial degree (in Hospital Management)

She is a BAMS (bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery + MD in Ayurvedic Medicine ) from Bhartiya Vidyapeeth (deemed University ) based in Pune , India

My question is :

1 ) Can she apply under FSWP 2014 under NOC 0311 ( managers in Health Care ) or NOC 4011 ( Lecturer ), or going forward Since EOI format is getting introduced will it be wise for her to start preparing her file

2 ) From which organisation can she get her EDUCATIONAL documents accessed , ( I have checked with WES they are saying they cannot do for BAMS. However ICAS says they can get her BAMS report but not possible to issue her MD ECA report.)

3 ) for eligibility under any NOC , Is it necessary to have relevant education . Or any education is fine as long as we have relevant work experience of more than 1 year.

4) points claimed under Work exp can be for any / all work exp, which may not be of the NOC applied for . ( ie Incase 1 year of exp for NOC Category applied for but over all of 8 years exp. in some other profession . Point for exp shall be 9 or 15?

No one really knows how many total applications are received .. 2174 is a really hot NOC but then 1000 is a pretty large number too ... It is always worth a try !!

I got this response from CIC over a query that my file has been transferred to NDVO..But there is no ecas update no AOR yet from NDVO.. is there a way i can get in touch with NDVO? or do you suggest to wait for NDVO to reach out to me?

I have read that many application succeeded by using this kind of proof of fund as an officer will consider that you can sale the asset before landing, but this was up to last year acceptable , what I want is to confirm that still the same this year...

As long as applicant's name, dob, and either of parents name there, it should have cause no problem. The review officer will certainly understand neelaveni and balaneelaveni is same person.

If you have given neelaveni as other given/surname in the background declaration form, to me it will cause absolutely no problem. Even, if you have not written it, still should not cause for rejection. Never heard rejection due to name a bit missing.

Sorry to ask once again....., i put 99% hard work to collect all documents ( 99% bcos missed this affidavit )

I got notarized for all documents.. , in the birth certificate their is notary public signature will it add advantage

Hey, If you are not able to determine your NOC, do you think you should be going to Canada in the FSW program? How do you think you will compete for finding work there? This is pretty basic, please put in some effort to read the below and figure out such trivial stuff on your own. It would have been better if your question was "I think I fit in so and so NOCs, can anyone suggest which one is a better fit based on my below role."

Buddy the point is simple, you are not a kid anymore so start behaving like an adult. No one will come running behind to clean your diaper / nappy.

its just that limited information makes you more excited..knowing that the file has been transferred makes you wana know when will NDVO contact me...

Hi, The latter sounds more reasonable as I am sure NDVO would like to take things in its stride. They seem perfectly capable of handling work for all of us, so why bother them over just one case?

PS - Also if you read through the Visa process there it clearly says they 'enjoy' to sit over the file for sometime. May be it meant there that they like to sit on your file LOL

You've already got it: NOC CATEGORY is your category. Other categories which do not apply to you are Offer of Arranged Employment category or PhD category
