Hi friend,

Just wanted to make sure. I have a Masters Degree and a Bachelors Degree too. So is it mandatory to get both the degrees assessed for CIC?? I already have a positive evaluation done by WES on my Masters Degree. Do I still have to get my Bachelors Degree assessed?? Are you sure on this issue. Am a bit confused on this because I am filing the application myself and I didtnt find information on the website which clearly states that only highest degree possessed is needed to be evaluated.

Please clarify my issues if u know. Appreciate your help.

only highest degree possessed is needed to be evaluated and for your evaluation as Master Degree, you will get 23 points.

You can also assess you bachelor degree but your points will remain as 23 and will get no additional benefit.

I called the office again and the passport still not available im tempted to submit my old passport (Aug 2014 expiry) then just re-submit the copy of the new one... im losing hope that I will reach the cap for 2172.

You absolutely having nothing to worry about.
Package your application with your current passport document and submit.
When you get your PERS notification and your file get your local visa office indicated on your generic form,you will update your information by sending your renewed passport ID and biodata page to them....finish!
You don't need to worry about unnecessary things.....the instruction guide says you must ensure that you have a valid and active international passport....no timing!
Just for your info.....I did the same and it was ok.

Hi All,

I know how tense the application procedure is and we are all worried if we have made it.

But guessing when the cap will be filled is not possible ... not by anybody on this forum !!

It only causes more stress to people for no reason. So please do your best and submit your applications as soon as possible.

You may be late but not too late. You can start the process of IELTS and WES as of now and if any positive news you can file your application by next month. If you are late for this year then you will definitely have a chance for Express Entry in 2015, but the rules will change and no one knows yet.

Application Fee Refund Query..!!

I am planning apply for FSW-2014 as awaiting for my wife's IELTS results.

Will my application fees be returned..?? in case of,

1) The application cap reached;
2) If I am not eligible for the NOC in which I applied

Except for above 2 cases, are there any other reasons wherein I shall get my application fees back.

Please guide me on this.

Need your kind advice. I've sent in my application to cic and was received on 27th.

I think I messed up my application by sending in birth certificate for my son issued by Indianembassy in Saudi. Actually the original birth certificate issued by Saudi authority has been retained by Indian embassy and they registered my son in their birth register.

Plus they issued me a birth certificate stating that it is a certified true copy of records they have entered in their register. Also I have sent in a copy of Arabic birth certificate and its translation without any notary. I am bit worried about this aspect of my application.

Can you shed some light on this if you are aware?

Your earlier NOC 1112 is super hot. Even that will not fill so early. So chill n relax for 1111.
