Ah okay I think I understand. they will request his passport, and place a visa in it as well as a separate document CoPR... and the timeline for that for you was only a few days, and I read some other threads where it was 12 days etc... so almost there I hope :)

It is generally a longer wait for those needing a visa. Since I am visa exempt all the visa office had to do was issue the copr. Every visa office has a different time line for issuin the visa and copr so the best way to know for your visa office is to find the thread specific for that office and see what the "trend" is.

ECAS seems to have changed it's format up and so it's not working for me today. boo.

I meant to tell you that I called CIC the other day. I wanted to make sure they got my RPRF payment and the marriage certificate since everyone (and the internet) said it was supposed to go to Mississauga location and not Ottawa (where I sent mine). He confirmed they got it and then I asked if the due date (which is Sept. 9) was likely to be their bring forward date as well and if that was the reason it was still "in process" even though I sent them the requested documents the day after they emailed. He said yes and that it is even possible that they won't even get to my file on that date… but somewhere very close to it. I think I remember your due date was much sooner, so maybe you'll be hearing soon?

Our bring forward date was August 8th. I tried calling them today but per usual it said they couldn't transfer my call.
Thanks for the info! I hope that's the case! :)

I tried calling the call center again this afternoon and finally got through.

Bless the girls heart for actually being very kind to me over the phone (that's a first for me) she told me she couldn't get access to my file because I had an Outland application and I had to contact Ottawa directly, which is either snail mail or email.

So I emailed them, cause I just want to confirm they have my RPRF and got my medicals :\

*sigh*

Do you get the status 'decision made' before the passport request? or did you get the request while still 'in process'?

I am just wondering what to expect next...

Also, may I ask what was the time frame from 'In Process' to 'Decision Made'?

Thank you so much!

Good luck for you interview...
there is a tread that discusses the interview process that you will benefit by reading...
they will present the most common questions that you will may face....

I don't know if you already have the questionnaire that they use as a standard for the interview ???

but is good to know the questions in advance,
and the questions are out there for those that want to be more confident in the interview

We sent two emails to our VO. The first we got a reply back the next day and and the other we sent on a Thursday and didn't hear back until Monday afternoon, but that was probably because of the weekend.
